    well, that one looks quite ok...except the pants...I mean...for a guy to wear a skirt...works for Asian culture, much less for western.

    honestly, i picture casters wearing robes. male or female. it's the way they've always been displayed.

    yeah, all the fantasy stories with wizzards and priests and such, these characters are usually wearing some kind of robes...
    When I'm thinking at my wizzard progress (weak at low lvl, decent at around 80 and prolly on par at 90+ 100 with the power to 1 shot some classes) I alway have that old wizard picture in mind. Barbs/BM/Archers, these are all young lads, power comes early in their training. With wizards always takes longer, and they are always weak having to compensate their weakness using the skills at their best.

    I wish they were less robes and more like the... well, like the full length ones they wear in martial arts movies. If they're standing still it doesn't make a difference, but it's much cooler when they move. b:laugh

    I think you're making this in to a bigger deal than it actually is. It's really nothing to worry about.

    I went pure magic from levels 1 to 60. I didn't refine. I didn't shard. Why? Because I'm a cheapo nasty Cleric....but that's another matter...

    Fact is, your dismal physical defence doesn't matter because [1] you have Plume Shell and [2] you can heal yourself. Aside from my FBs and bosses, I also quested solo 99% of the time.

    Stats can look really bad on paper, but when you're actually out there, playing it, low physical defence in the early stages of the game is a non-factor.
