Kiting?

well ive been getting by fairly easily so far but only because of kiting all the time. will we get strong enough to not have to kite before like level 60 or wateva it is others say?. so many times iv been kiting and ran into another monster and also it just gettings anoying after awhile

    Before you start grinding in an area, look around. Has anyone else been killing mobs there? You might want to wait a little to see where they respawn.

    Then, when you're kiting, keep an aerial view, pulled out some, so you can see the clear paths better. If there is a really wide open space right among the mobs, chances are something will spawn there. Typically there's about 40-50 meters (range of two casting spells) between spaced-out mobs - just enough to run right between two without touching off aggro.

    Since you're on a PvE server and "have" to kite, I'm guessing you're wearing Arcane robes? I play as LA and rarely need to kite. I do it every so often because it's a good skill to learn and is still helpful, even with the extra pdef I have.

    Go to the Apothecary and make Life Powder, and when you've reached level 30, Focus Powder. The first will increase your HP regen for 10 minutes, the second your Mana regen. While your results won't be as good as mine, it will still be very helpful and you'll be able to attack more and rest less. (For me, most mobs barely make a dent on my HP bar when Life Powder is running, and a 1 second rest takes care of that between mobs.)

    ever since i got the phoinex knock back skill at.. i think 39? i have not had to use distance shreik or any other form of running away. (except on archer mobs) You could use will of phoinex on ranged mobs, but that requires you to run towards the mobs and usually results in a extra hit on you. I never do that, just kite them.
    mobs do not hit me anymore unless they are ranged, but since i turned 49 i can use force of will on ranged mobs and scare them away some. works well.
