did you guys know EP(cleric) are supposed to be LA?

    That's just one of the build. I don't think is the best because Cleric is mainly the wizard killer in the game and LA will gimp the class against magics. Plume shield takes care of the physical damage, arcane equip takes care of magic damage. So arcane seems the best.

    It should be main build just cause you see it on a picture??
    Main is robe cause its flexible, you need 3 mag 0.5str and you can choose what you want with spare. LA is a strict build.

    There really isn't a main build as there is a common build that being robed mag.

    @ButtHurt why do you keep posting here intead of the Barb forum?

    Think some clerics over-rely on plume shield as their main defence against phys attacks. If you're ever caught without chi or during its cooldown then it will be nasty! =X

    Such as Yasii said, you cannot rely on plume shield ever unless its pve, in PvP you will more than likely get suprised attacked from an archer in the midst of battle and will most likely get one shotted if your pure mag. I suggest going LA and refining (Health shards) or vit and refining (def shards) either build keeps you alive around the same amount. I prefer LA over others cuz robes are soo last week b:victory

    You know I think every at least a bit smart BM would rather go with a cleric that has higher survivability than with a chicken.

    hmmmm... i think she is an archer not a cleric, if i remember the the archer has just 1 wing in his head and the cleric has 3

    Clerics don't need LA gear. Better off to go with HP, (shards, refines, stats and even pump some into vit). Like said before, plume shell takes care of phy dam. with the consumption of mana. And arcane pwns all else. = We survive and rock the house. With some added HP, = pwnage.

    We can survive better then alot of LA built Clerics if were smart about it.

    I hardly ever use shield in pvp now- only when i'm losing and want to get back into a fight do I turn on shield, but normally i dont need it and really you shouldnt even plan on using it. Even against high lvl archers/wb/bm its something you keep in reserve- kind of like tree of protection.

    I dont use in big pvp battles either. Either you spam shield whenever you can, in which case you can still get stunned- few shots your mana is zero and shield down- dead. Or you get stunned- cant use shield and you're dead.

    If you can tank through the initial shock attacks and see off the worst they can throw at you, thats the time to turn on shield and use anti-stun pot if needed.

    Sadly if you're robe thats difficult to do and you're spamming shield from the start of the fight.b:bye

    So completely agree with panda- LA (refined +hp shard) or def sharded robes is definitely the way to go for pvp. b:cool

    @meaangirl I am not lvling slow as I haven't done my FB51 yet.I have been working on my Veno.I know we have alts but do I show my alts as my avatar no.

    and some warrior skill trainers wear robes b:shocked

    Yes, their cleric in the game intro section is definately wearing level 80 light armor... but well... blame aesthetics... marketting :P.

    i think im a little late on this forum but yes main build is arcane robe. light armor maybe be seen in lower lvls simply because we are super squishy and helps with pys def. but if you know how to "cleric" theres no worries. iv been arcane since the start and i love it =) hehe
