Map Display Issue

Hi there.
I just got a new monitor, and its a lot bigger than my old one.
I have the resolution set to 1920x1080.
When I push M and go to the map, I cannot completely see it because both the top and bottom are cut off.
I have tried setting it to wide-screen mode.

    This is a known issue with the in-game main big maps.

    The game was developed years ago and was designed for 4:3 displays. While the game does kind of support non-4:3 ratio displays, the in-game maps do not.

    Try playing in windowed mode and dragging the resolution to the size that you want.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    or just run the game full screen with a 4:3 resolution such as 800/600, 1024/768 etc. hopefully your monitor has an "autodetect resolution" menu option, or you can manually adjust the display width down to have a vertical letterbox.

    I have that problem too. Just set it to windowed mode and then select user screen size play around with the numbers until you get one that works nicely for you.

    One bonus with windowed mode is that it switches from game to a browser (or other application) much faster.
