Herc or Nix wich comes first?

wich should i get first after i save for one? i would like to know so that i don't waste my money on the rong one. before i heard that people got Herc then farmed TT, but apparently the TT price is going down so which is recommended to get first is it still Herc or is it Nix now?

    I would say herc if you dont feel like waiting for an hh squad. I know in RQ its hard to find a barb and cleric unless they are doing 2-3 runs and even those its kinda hard to get a group. But yeah I would get a herc first. Then you can solo bosses like for quests or your culti and if you need an extra heal or two ask some veno friends to help you or a cleric friend if you want to do some aoe bosses. And with herc you can grind, and do mold runs in fbs.

    Ive heard that nixes are good for grinding but I personally dont care for it.

    I would say Nixs are better at taking out bosses especially in the outdoors as you can stay on your arero mount and cast spell from there leaving the Nix do the attacking.

    I have seen a friend do this and it easy and you can farm emmolation camp (sp) all you want.You can't do that with a Herc.

    Doing bosses is not about how fast you can take them out, but whether your pet can actually survive them. If you want a boss taken care of quickly get an archer or wiz as damage support.

    If you want to farm bosses same level as you or even above get a Herc, because the only thing you'll be tanking with Nix are elites and bosses several levels below you.

    Herc is not only good for TT (which can make you a lot of money, regardless if prices dropped somewhat), but for FBs as well.
    For example, you can easily farm FB59 for reputation, which in the long run can get you some nice gear, and farming FB89 for apocalypse pages long before you even hit 80 (20 pages per 1 skill is not cake, so it's recommended to start early if you want your skills at the proper level).
    Not to mention Rebirth and Cube at 70/80+ which will probably make up the majority of your exp at that point.

    Herc is more than just a quick money maker, it's a long term investment that will make things easier in the long run.

    I got my Nix first on my veno for only one reason: My friend got a Herc. I can be cleric and run the HH's with her and we both win. I help her grind with the Nix she helps me HH with the Herc = b:cute.

    As a result, I am farming for a Herc and she is farming for her nix. We both win!!

    Once you get your hands on either one, saving up for the other will be a lot easier regardless of choice.

    Unfortunately, after the weekend pet pack sales coupled with zhen sales, every other veno and their mother got hercs now, and TT mat prices dropped through the floor.b:sad

    Having herc isn't as profitable as it used to be.
