Wizard lvl19 - Wrong idea of class, how to fix?

Hello guys
I have made a big mistake by not reading the forum before I starting the game, and now I have a mixed up Wizard Character.
I have added points to almost everything, but most on Magic.
1#Where is it possible to restart the points? Do I get them back so that I can uppgrade to a spesific build like light/heavy armor etc..

And I have read about the different types of wizard, and I want to be as a Light Armor.

Pandora: It's a good idea to pick either your necklace or your belt, and make one of them pdef based, and the other one magic defense based

2#But what about the rest of the armor - hat, pants,boots and chest robe? shall i go for pdef or magic resistance?

I hope that someone can take some time and answer my questions so that I have some cind of clue how to become some cind of wizard?

1) You can buy a reset note to get attribute points back. They can be costly for a low level like yourself. With LA however, you need every single point in the right spot, so it's either pony up the coin/cash or restart your character.

2) with necklace and belt, you can choose one or the other which is why they suggested to split 1:1. Your LA armor will have both, and I suggest for the most part getting all 5 mag res on your pieces.

I'm guessing pure is what I want, and atm my str vit and dex are around 40 and 46(Vit). I could probably get away with only ever putting on Mag now (which is 165) and by level 60-70 be where I should be?

I also really like the idea of more crits, which is why I want to get more Dex, plus better range.

That is a hard one, your strength is high enough to raise only magic for quite a while(mines currently STR43). The dex is about right for a critical Wiz/Hybrid low level LA wiz, you could reset if you don't like it if thats within your budget. Also dex doesn't add range to a wiz's spells, only skill levels do that. I think Pandora said that if you add more than 40 Dex you might as well be LA. The vit you have will add 460 hp(which isn't alot), but it's not an urgent issue.

Other than that you can add only magic until lv.70 if you really want to try pure. You'll end up with around 265 Magic(which is oddly exactly 100 less magic than me).

You'll need to decide for yourself if you want to restat to LA or Pure, pure's geared towards PvE and DDing whereas LA is considered more geared towards Rebirth/Zhen parties.

Well, I've just started doing a couple Rebirths.. maybe I should go LA... hmm.. choices..

I'll have to think it over.

EDIT: I think I might leave it as is, not wear LA and just add onto Mag til I need to for arcane gear.

I think I'm doing alright how it is.
