Genies lucky points

For what ive heard a genies Growth affects the points he earns (correct me if im wrong)
So my question is how does the growth works? how do i increase it?

    Every 10 levels, a genie will earn a maximum of ten points, minimum of one.

    From the genies I've had, the growth has always been 50, never noticed a difference or a change in the number

    if u pass ur mouse above the growth it will say there that the points the genies win depends on the growth so if the growth is the same why bother saying that? doesnt make much sence to me
