lol, ok so I'm not a fanatic who wants to see new races/classes too soon. It's hard enough getting used to the once we have. But a lot of people are interested in the idea and so I'd like to see people use their imaginations and come up with new ideas for races and classes, as well as rating others. With any luck a GM will see this thread and pass the best ideas on to the developers.

If it turns out to be too difficult to implement, then this thread could just be for fun and give people a chance to express their creativity.

So, I guess I'll go first and suggest a new race.

New Race -The Corrupt

When the Wraith invaded the world of Pangu, there were a few brave warriors from all the races who united under one flag to defend themselves. They engaged the Wraith while the capital cities were still reluctantly forming their alliances. These were the most righteous of them all, and they were also the first to be killed. The Wraith were impressed by the bravery of these martyrs and tried to corrupt them with hatred and evil towards their cowardly brethren. However, they resisted, escaping the cluthes of the Wraith and forming colonies on the outermost reaches of Pangu. They are feared and distrusted by most, and many of them are questioning their loyalty to Pangu. But most are willing to continue fighting for good, knowing that they have nothing left to lose...

[The Corrupt exist in both genders and look humanoid, except that some have tattered wings and tails, and some even have fur, owed to their original genetic composition. They are covered with various symbols and tatoos, and have pale or blue-tinged skin, all signs of wraith "uncleanliness".]

Coming up with new classes is harder than it sounds. Why? Because all the good ones are taken! Maybe a melee magic user? I dunno. But if anyone can top my race idea and add some classes, go for it! Post your ideas too!

Elf Fighter: A tank type similer to the Barbarion but relies on skill and his fists to do damage. Able to attack from afar with bare fists or cause bleed damage with claws, his ability to deal damage and statise effects is where he shines the most.

Human Shadowling: Stealth and Evastion is the dish of the day for this Human. Using unmatched speed and agility, he dances around his apponitns as he cuts them to ribbons. Also is able to use posions and blinding sand to weaken his enemys before dealing the final blow.

Untamed Genomancer: The Untamed's connection to Nature as unlocked a new power, the ability to control Nature itself! Avalible to both Males and Femals, the Genomancer and use all the elements to snare, burn, frezzes and destroy their prey.

    huh....not that hard.

The Fat Race (Race that looks like Hercules) They could be like mage/fighter kinda..... like,, uses magical clubs or giant magical hammers. lol....
I wish this game was a bit more fantasy based, it would be easier to come up with stuff since then it wouldn't have to rely on orthodox chinese as much.. not a QQ btw... I still like the game.

The Bashe are serpent like creatures in a humanoid form, fighting with fervor and trickery. In the early days of Pangu, The Elven Wings descended upon the Bashe Clans in a mighty surge, breaking up the dark foes. With the Wraith keeping the three races in arms, the Bashe once again slither into the light to envelope all in servitude, including the wraith.

Bashe Berserker (male): str, vit - light tank wood and earth?
During the heat of battle, a bloodlust grips the berseker and a blood like aura surround him, dealing damage taken plus normal attacks at the cost of chi for short periods. Weapons includes heavy swords, scythes, and battle axes. Strangle/sleep/stun. No mounts, but lvl 30+ morph into Giant Python with Guilded Serpent for high lvl.

Bashe Temptress (female): mag, vit - veno balance b:surrender wood and water
Aluring and clever, the Temptress uses her cunning to turn allies against each other as well as monsters for short periods (5-30sec) if this fails to inflict enough havoc, she can inflict damage fast and cause her oppenents to bleed. Weapons include whips, fans, claws, fangs?. Also able to turn into Giant Python for short periods and or a mass knot of restrictors able to strangle prey with a chance to turn foe mad (sacrificial, or seld inflicted dmg)

hehe yea, that would be cooool hehe hehe

    k thx! good topic!b:victory

or you can just copy wow classes =D

    jk

I would like necromancer class that would specialise in dark dd magic but not like mage that only has dd type magic also debuffs and maybe drainers could be cool

Seal Master: Debuffing class that could have only 1-2 DD spells and mostly concentrating on debuffing/buffing players... by telling u only 1-2 dd spells by that i mean really good debuffs, not like poison but prevent from attack, prevent from magic and slow

I agree with genomancer untamed class that would be cool

Ninja/Rougue/ShadowWarrior yea..you pretty much get the idea -> stealth->1-hit ko->stealth->1hit ko->stealth->1hit ko .. but it doesnt have to be that way if you balance it normaly

ill get more ideas in time..
    ... And afterwards, I get a cookie!

I thinked abaut to classes :the sea guard and the and the water mage(you could change the name. They could bee faster in water but slower on land.
And the flying should be some marine animel the land mount should be a turttle
and the flying should be some sea birds

Alright my friend and i have been thinking and this is what we have come up with:
    1) A race called Shadows. Basically you have two classes necromancer and Assasin. The Necromancer focus on the dark arts and Assasins (while self explanitory) are based on stealth and (Ninja) attacks. What this race would look like is if you have played Elder Scrolls the Argonians (Lizard Men) are the Lizard People and the assasins would look kind of like Dark elves. Our thought is that at level 9 they could turn into serpents and at level 30 for there (Flying) upgrading they could have the ability to turn into a small dragon (I really like dragons and think they would make a great add on to the game).

    2) Our other idea was that you could add wraithes. As there backround you could add 'Wraithes have taken many cities and some do not beleive in this cause they are now called the Seperatists". This race would have the ability to turn into Ghostly like spirits at level 30 for there flying upgrade. There skills would be basic skills based off of Dark/Undead magic or they could have another class being a type of Dark based heavy weapontry.

Anyway if you would consider realeasing our or ANY new race it would be the coolest thing ever. We love your game we love your company keep up the great work. b:laugh

Greatley Awaiting an Answer at my new email for everyone to add there ideas at JBSpace29@yahoo.com.

When the great race began to populate the vast army to hold the wraith at bay, cousin to the venomancer from the high mountians of vulcanic purgatory. once fallen enemys of the free peoples came to thier aid. Summoner spell castor with the ability to call upon the dead to over power its foes with all things unnatural, the undead samurai is the most fearsome fighter.

type axe/hammer/2 handed sword master, summoner/dark mage
    male and female
    heavy armor only

Long before the wraiths attacked the perfect world there where things going on another place in space. A big comet was traveling trough space. But it had a giant collision with a planet far out in space. The great stone crushed and there was again silence on the planet. Many years what traveling buy but suddenly there was growing lifeforms out from the rests of the comet. These where rapid lizard looking creatures. But as they growed smarter and more intelligent they started to travel to other planets using portals. The first planet they choosed to visit was the planet known as perfect world.

This race start in a whole new minimap on another planet. But to travel to the real map they have to go trough the portal. The race has as the other races to classes. Both classes male and female version. One of them a warrior from space and the other a mage controling space powers.

    Cool post by the way

The monks did a vow of poverty, so their inventory will be limited to 8 slots and their total gold can never go over 100k coins.

hey, while reading this thread i got an idea...

Race: Dark Order: They are mainly spirits, and tormented souls, that force a body back to life, their goal is to become living again.

Appearance and start: At start they could be "just" a shadow-like creature, were the verry first quests could be to capture the body, that is designed at caracter creation (wer i would like a dobble customisation to make both "spirit form" and mortal form unique), and at lvl 20 they could get an option to become either a mortal, but still allows them to use their normal skills, or a Lich, allowing them to kill their "host" to gain greater magical potential.

    Classes:
Frost Lich: Prity mutch a advanced dark/frost mage, relying mainly on stopping/draining power to kill and survive.

Stalker/Shadow: They are advanced ghost-like creatures, focusing on playing a game of confusing hide-adn-seek with their enemys, dealing fast and deadly blows and then disapers, a "illusion" skill that creates like 5 fakes of the character, and makes them all (including character) to run around the target, and charging at same time wher only the real one, would deal damage.

BTW: for the lvl 30 flying, i would suggest a "True Form" skill, allowing the player to take the form of a ghost, that carries the "dead" character.

I know it's not from chinese mythology, but I would like to see a viking race. And it would bring the concept of sailing to PWI, maybe even ship building. Melees would use axes, pole axes etc. and the ranged would use throw axes. And if there were mages they would use the power of their norse good. The vikings would be a fearless class, knowing that if they died they would go to Valhalla their version of heaven. And in Valhalla, all they do is fight alongside their gods. Vikings would mostly be melee or ranged. They would kind of be an opposite to the winged elf race. They would start out on island in the Endless sea. And once they hit a certain level they would learn how to build ships to sail across the sea. And their flying mount would be a flying viking ship. They would be large and strong using heavy armour for the melees and light armour for the ranged.

    Sounds about right

I LOVED how in another game you could go into hiding on all classes, but had hella sick moves out of hiding. Like a stealth, was on an assassin. Your character moves a little slower, but is invisible. You can hear them move when they get close to you, and spot them with a searching move, or just AoE. b:cuteb:laugh

I believe when they say "race" they really mean "species"... and since Vikings are human... you can simply accomplish Vikings by allowing the character creator to give human characters big beards and more body hair and muscle... and make helmets actually be visible on the character model in game... or just implement Water Buffalo/Ox/Bull Barbarians

Also you don't need to worry about the relevance to Chinese Mythology... I'm pretty certain totem poles and robots (the Mecha-crab enemies and this one NPC I saw calling itself a Summonobot XXL) were not part of Chinese mythology, yet there they are in the game anyway, on that note... From now on I'm referring to the game world as "Ancient NOTChina"

I posted this in other thread, but this one is totaly more cool
    NEW CLASSES
Human- Arcane Swordsman combines what humans have now into a class that would do mag damage through sword skills, preference light/arcane armor and swords/magical swords, primary stat: mag/str secondary: str/dex damage done would be a hybrid of magic dmg and phys- phys on normal and some skills magic dmg on most skills. Also has to ability to embue one element at a time to normal strikes(similar to wiz water buff but self based and only one effect at a time) This could be split into two paths one specializing in normal swords and imbueing with elemens and one in elemental sword skills

Elf- Elves lack a true melle class in this game archers can sort of cut it, but it would be nice to add one lets say maybe a...
Dragoon using the elves ability to fly can gain advatage by droping on enemies phys based uses spears, poleblades, maybe poleaxes too, preference heavy armor, primary stat: str secondary: dex
this class could be given skills and abilities that does great damage if player uses from flying to land ontop of enemy and then using land based skills finish it off. Could also have two paths one that specializes in the flying attacks one that is land based. To fix problem of instances not being able to fly in instances maybe make those attacks make the character do a leap attack while in an instance or just say tough luck I guess.

Untamed- Feral Warrior(male or female class first off can use models from barb and veno) phys based preference, fists/claws heavy/light armor, primary stat: dex secondary: str this class can use the existing untamed ability for true form turning into another animal (perhaps a panther or wolf for females and a lion or bear for males, or just one for all to make it easy) and easily have a path for animal and a path for non animal form. As for primary skills it should be almost like an archer in terms of being based on doing crits only close range, could also take from veno and have status inducing attacks such as poisoned claws or weakening abilities to lower defenses. Also as this class sounds as it would be particularly wild looking and rely on claws could also get away with a lot of bleed attacks by maiming and slashing the enemy

these classes would also give new importance to some of the lesser used weapons in the game (mainly spears, and fists as only bms tend to use them and most tend to go axe or sword)

    NEW RACE
Personaly and no Ive never played WoW, but Id like to see soem short races I dont know how well it would fit in the PW story, but Id say
    Gnome

Mechanic- gnomes have always been obsesed with technology so this class gets most of its abilities through strange inventions. Example: firebomb- aoe fire attack, clearly higher lv skill but an example, traps can be used to slow and hinder enemies, little mechanical pets similar to veno's pets that are summoned to do some damage and disapear after a little bit. This class could easily be arcane or not in terms of armor, as for weapon Id say a wrench would be nice, or a gun (totaly the old timey things) to fit with technology. Either way Id think dex would be primary due to the fact mechanics generaly dont have to be strong, and if useing a gun more so as its a ranged wep, while mag or str would be secondary depending on how youd want to stat out the skills. Flying mounts would be easy, little flying machines of varying degrees of craftmanship from the barely in the air to the expertly made fancy little bugger.

unfortunatly I cant think of any other classes for a gnome so ill just go on to

Merfolk (yes lame I know give me a chance here, i has a plan :) )
merfolk, yea give me a bit to explain, there is some water combat in PW not a lot, but some, and undines are pretty much evil mermaids, so using this, one could say that people have made contact with them and befreinded them, using the part of the myth where they grow tails only when in water and can use legs while on land you can have a useable race, as for why they would fly... no clue but totaly flying sharks... or dolphines for flying mounts. Also while in water clearly they would move faster and should get a bonus to attacking while in water (who knows this could lead to an underwater cave level).

    Sirin (female only)
in short the buff class (Bard is where im going) buffs buffs buffs more buffs, this class would be all about the buffs more so than cleric even by having better buffs, with maybe a minor heal sort of like wiz only since its voice based maybe a weak version of the Blue Bubble skill. Aside from buffs they could use thier voices to entrance the enemy and cause debuffs like lower def, lower attack, whatever. For attacks however this would be their slight downfall, they would have some obviously as they would not be useful without, but not many maybe 2 or 3 damaging magical skills and an ultimate attack sort of like fox form really only magical based. clearly arcane armor here with mag weapons perhaps getting a slight bonus if using a glaive (I think thats the one that has the thing like a trident, trying to find a reason for so many dif mag weapon types other than looks), or could add a harp weapon. Mag is primary stat here and vit would probly be secondary to off balance the less attacks thing.

Warrior of the Deep (male or female[maybe male only to make less QQ about sirins not being male, do you really want a male sirin?])
Melle class of the group, would use poleblades, and heavy armor. Basicaly here think BM poleblade spec only more specialized with poles and due to magical nature of the race a passive to give more mag def based on lets say 3,5,7,9,11,13,15,18,21,25% of phys def bonus to mag def(look i made a skill with all 10 lvs) this could make them easily better at tanking than a barb at some bosses(...Krimson...Manta) again a slight boost to atack and speed while in water(**** you manta ahahahaha)

anyway ill stop now before I keep on(im sure you can tell this is one of my fav things to do)

    (Bump!)

The Aquarites- available to both Male and Female.
    A race based around a mer-people simply.

(1)Their home, located in the largest body of water in Pangu, an elegant palace, or treacherous cave-like dwelling.
(2)Gills and lungs, they are anphibian, capable to live and move comfortably on land and in water. Sort of like the Elves, they have legs on land but the option of them turning into a single mermaid-man fin in water, much like the elves disappearing, reappearing wings.
(3)Their ears fin like structures. Their skin, available any color with a scaly appearance everywhere but the face. Webbed hands and feet (when shown).
Their fin has the option of being upgraded when appropriate. Humanoid, with hair.
(4)No mounts available, but they are able to tame marine creatures that can surface onto land with them.

    How does that sound?

*Whilst they were Neutral during the war, The Aquarites had no interest in territory in the sky. But once the Wraiths invaded the land and water, The Aquarites saw no other choice than to join the battle to save their home.
