EXP and drop events

Just a quick question, when i played on another version the reguraly had events like 2X drop rates and extra exp events running for a certian amount of time (usually coinsiding with holiday events) and i was wondering if they have had or plan to have them in this version.

    I believe they had a x2 experience day around the time Lost Empire expansion happened, at least I read in an article about the expansion on a gaming site that it was planned.

    Not sure if there'll be any more.
    Currently flying internet spaceships around dodixie, moving to amarr soon.

    they should make every other sunday double xp .

    they did 50% exp event once, and you couldnt stack it with exp scrolls.
    i believe they had it for 1 week sometime near before, or when they released their first big expansion (lost empire) i didnt level once during the event XD

    ive made a few tickets bugging them for one, maybe if everyone pestered wed get one, my former MMO spiced them in once every 2-3 months for different holidays or major events, another MMO i played had certain random hours of the each day be a one hour +% exp hour :P so idk lots we can do. BUG THEM!!!

    The last MMO I played had events practically every week. And huge events, cash shop item drop, double exp, the lot. I practically made hundreds of dollars worth of ingame coin from their events.
    The problem with this was, the moment they took a break for a week or two the game forums became spammed with "maor events plz" and "why aren't we getting events?!!1 ragequit!". On top of this everything became ridiculously easy, with cash being easy to make and leveling being little problem from the +exp.

    An event every month or two would be nice. It also serves as a nice incentive to get people to play more, which can only mean more business. I know a drop rate or premium item drop event would have me playing non stop b:laugh
