    Tree of Protection
    Solid Shield
Alpha Male (for taking aggro when you can't use roar)

Tangling mire or Extreme poison to amp dmg on bosses

If she does Rebirth Gamma, then I'd also suggest a second genie if she does quests. Put holy path on it to make the questing faster. Consider Earthquake on the main genie for pushing mobs into the zhen when the waves are coming.

    40 on Mag
    40 on Vit
    Dump rest on Dex
    Position: Professional Forum Troll
Position Details: Be able to incite people to flames and perform miracles such as telling people what's right and what's wrong. Be able to dish out flames to other people so fire extinguishers are needed to put out the flames. Most of all, giving others a piece of reality.

I'd suggest 50 on mag so you can use skills faster.

The type of genie doesn't really matter, just don't get the purple one (Infliction). Alot of ppl get the orange one (Zeal) because you can get an extra slot for skills quickly.

The affinity points for you genie are dependant on the skills you want.

Does Tangling Mire stack with Extreme Poison?
my opinion is that get 2 genies one for griding, like Wolfgang said, put 50 on MAG to get the mp recovery to 2, then pump the rest into vit. You could make an attack one for pvp, mag, str and a little bit of vit maybe.

Yes, tangling mire stacks with extreme poison. If you have one and your friend has the other, time them so they stack.

Extreme Poison and the starter skill on the red genie (Infliction) Venom Stinger let you pull singles from a group like a veno. Eruption Fist (green/blue genie initial skill) and Earthflame (yellow genie initial skill) probably do it too, I just haven't been able to test them yet. A couple other genie skills probably will as well, but their ranges are shorter.

Venom Stinger is nicest for pulling because it slows the target and speeds you up. But it comes on a genie that comes with 15 str, which is arguably the least useful stat. Extreme Poison is the most useful of the skills that let you pull, but costs a lot more stamina past level 2 (and you really do want to max it).

Tangling Mire (AOE) is good if you have a herc or a veno damage reflect buff on you and are tanking multiple mobs. It increases the reflect damage from everything hitting you. But for a single target, Extreme Poison is better. Tangling Mire's 30% phys resist decrease at max level works out to a bit less than 20% more damage against like-level mobs from what I've seen. So Extreme Poison's 20% damage increase is actually better since it applies to both physical and magical damage.

My genie has Tree of Protection, and Solid Shield. I'm saving up to get Thunderstorm ( I will be able to get it at level 45).

But I'm torn between options for the last skill. Can't decide between Holy Path, Heart of Steel, Whirlwind..etc.

They all sound so good b:infuriated

At a .20th increase in energy per second of recovery ,an extra 10 points to magic doesn't seem worth it,an old genie of mine with 40 mag recovers at 1.80,50 mag genie is 2 per sec.
