Server Locations

I was just wandering where each server is located are they all USA servers or are some of them Euro.

    i don't know for sure, but i thought the servers for PWI were located at the west and east coast of the US. while the multilanguage PW servers are located in Europe. I'm not 100% sure... b:surrender
    When I got the meaning of melee mixed up:
    'Maj.. Melee ffs.. means I'm punching you in the face 1 foot away!'

    All PWI servers are located in the US. 3 on the west coast and 2 on the east.

    if i remember right.. the west coast are in San Jose (known for internet companies and server data banks) but i also remember some one saying LA. (known for tv and movie companies and very little gaming companies)

    yep. It could have some effect on your latency. Although if you live in the US you can reach any server with pretty good latency. The physical closeness comes into effect much more overseas. If you're in Europe, both our east and west coast servers will have a higher latency for you to start off. At that point you will want to choose the closer one.

    Eh that sounds complicated let's try it in another way: if your latency is around 200ms then you'll play the game fine. If your latency is 700ms on one server and 250ms on the other then the difference would be significant enough for you to choose the lower one.
