Mailbox cleared after maintenance?

Not quite sure if this is supposed to happen regularly, but this is the second time it has happened to me...

I usually have a lot of important mails stored in my ingame mailbox, some of which don't contain items, so I leave them to open for later. Mails like this that don't contain money or items always disappear after 30 days as long as you don't open it, but I've noticed that some times, after maintenance, my mailbox gets wiped, so that all mails that didn't contain coins or items are deleted. Everything else stays fine.

Just wondering if this is an error or is meant to be? Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Would be great if I could get a GM to help see if I can get some of that important back b:cry
