New here :) can i get a little help with characters and servers plz? ^_^

Hello everyone

I have been reading the forums for past 2 days and in the end I got totally confused cause of so much detailed info all smothering inside this skull of mine.

I am confused about which kind of character to choose for myself.

If I were to divide my love for an mmo it woul amount to 60 - 70% grinding and 30-40% PvP . Also i prefer chooosing male characters.
Depending on this which character would be suitable for me?

Also in general for a beginner which character is advisable? O.O
cause in many mmos i had ended up picking classes which had certain disadvantages which coud not be covered up for :P and got roasted in the end b:shocked so if you guys could help me plz ^_^

could some1 gimme a hint as to whats the difference from server to server? O.o
and are all the servers in the US or are stationed at various other places all over the globe

well good PVP and PVE hybrid character = archer, simple to build and has VERY cheap end game gears.

join sanctuary if you want to play a server where you can choose whether to PK or not, and lost city if you wanna PVP all the time after level 30.

archer = light armor gear, 4 dex, 1 str every level. gears for them near end game are only a couple hundred k a piece which they make fairly decent money at higher levels.

you can make them male or female, wield bows, slingshots, or xbows.

sanctuary, lost city, and heavens tear are west coast US servers, and harsh and dreamweaver are east coast.

Greetings and Welcome,

If you're looking for a male character than a venomancer is out the window.

It depends on your style really. Would you rather stand back and fight long range as an archer/Wizard/cleric (Clerics can heal and revive others)

Or fight a monster up close as a blademaster/ barbarian (Barbarians have good health and are usually called for help with tanking)

Heaven's Tear is a meh
Go here if you wanna be entertained by World Chat drama and random give aways

In addition to the location differences, Harshlands and Dreamweaver are the newest servers.

well, there are two nice archer guides in the archer sub board. were having server maint right now, but when its back up PM me at TearValerin, i will do my best to answer any questions, one of my cooler friends is like 4th highest archer on the server

lol sad as it is, metal is my life, and playing and talking about the music is the only thing interesting about me :P. i dont think people much care for nerds and all the whole tons of sheer amounts of **** i know and the encyclopedae i can fill with it:|!

i play me a squier strat, love drop C and A, low E and D tunings etc lol, jesus christ it makes the guitar sound like a beast.
