do i use crossbow or bow..im only lvl 9 archer, but im going to be pvp when im higher lvl.

    sling=good at PvE
    Xbow(notice the X not C)=good at PvP
    bow= balanced

    ...well thats what ppl say anyway. personaly i prefer the bow because of its cool look and becasue the dammage isnt as random as the other weapons

    In a pvp server id say BOW..good in pvp and good in pve..
    sling is useless in pvp pretty much and xbow blows in pve but is good in pvp..

    Xbow kinda hurts in PVE. With the slow shooting time mobs can get close to you pretty easily.
    I like using bows though, the only time I have ever used a Xbow is from lvl 20-32, using the FB19 bow which is actually really good. The high dmg makes up for slow shooting.
    Ill probably only ever use another Xbow at lvl 60 with the TT60 xbow.

    Personally I use what's strongest at my level. With the LV20 Trial Crossbow you get from FB19 (this xbow lasts til like LV30+) you hit so hard that speed doesn't really matter. I do the Pure build, and I was critical hitting things 2 levels above me for 1-2k DMG easy.

    If you use your skills & genie right, it doesn't really matter.

    PVE = sling
    PVP = xbow
    PVE + PVP = bow

    im going for TT90 xbow, its slow as hell but high damage, but im getting -interval stuff. so it wont really hurt. and at 9x u wont be grinding as much, only zhen, TW, dailies. in zhen, xbow FTW. i used a bow all the way until 69 when i switched to the mold sling for grinding, and at 8x soulsmasher for TTs and TWs.

    I lvl up 1-30ish wit a bow then switched to a xbow for 30ish -50ish.. 50 bow in supply stash is really gud!

    I wouldnt suggest buyin any weapons.. quest bows/xbows are gud.. till 60s b:laugher

    The weapon you use doesnt matter, a lv X (any lv) bow is slightly weaker than a lv X (same lv as the bow) Crossbow but a lv X+1 bow is stronger than the lv X crossbow. I suggest u just find a weapon with good bonus stats and stick with it for 10 lvs. I use normal bows cause they arent as ugly

    I like the bow way better then cross. And slingshot better then crossbow also.

    It attacks to slow and is alot more dependent on skills imo. Good for pvp against barbs with metal attacks but it stops there I think.

    Pure dex = lacks mana so you cant spam your spells for 2 long.

    Where crit works good with a bow and great with a slings attack rate.

    Bow is def. the balanced weapon of choice.
