Tame Pet

I didn't get the skill when I was at lvl 7 (lvl 12 now) and when I go to the Venomancer NPC, I can't acquire that skill. Is this supposed to happen? Do I have to wait until I'm lvl 17 to get the skill? Or is something wrong? I have the first lvl of Spiritual Cultivation...
这儿没人会简体吗?

    Wrong trainer, go to the person beside the venomancer trainer, i think her name was pet skill trainer. Then click "tame beast" option and you can learn "tame pet" there.

    You also need to do a quest to get the tame skill, from the Pet Skill Trainer. You may or may not have done this already.
