    gotten 2 molds just from exp grinding
    Shady Blade mold, then week and a half later, mold for Soul Devourer's Greaves.

    ok , side question . The ecatomb has those "nice" drop percentages such as 0.0005%, 0.000012% or 0.000007% . Nice numbers but where they taken from and who checked if they true ?b:chuckle

    Same way they get the other drops, however the real rates are actually lower than that because the mold is on the bonus drop. Using Greaves of the Fallen for example, it's .05196% for the table to appear, with a .0008% chance of getting the drop which actually makes it .000041568% to drop, or a 1 in 24057 chance.

    The lowest HP mobs to kill with it are Celestial Plumpfish (indoor so no respawn) and Undine Mystics (148, 868) with 20803 and 24630 hp. Undine Mystics would be the best choice due to respawn most likely, so going off of them, you would need 592523910 damage to see one on average. If you averaged say 3000 damage/second you should see one in 55 hours. Or if you would prefer thinking about it in exp, assuming you weren't high enough to cause an exp reduction, 12124728 exp earned grinding off only them.
