The main benefit to being robe is that you can throw a lot more points into mag or allocate them to vit, whereas in LA/HA your mag is limited to being min for a wep of your level, with no points available for vit, because they're all put into strength and dex.

Thats what i do, I do the mag/vit build and i use pdef belts and necks. I also look for gear with added pdef or vit. And when my veno gets about lvl 70-75,currently 65, Ill start adding hp stones to my armor. My LA friend has less hp than me because if he tried to add stats into vit there would be no way he could use his weapon.

Lunati - Sanctuary

I used to be LA, up until around lv. 40. In all honesty, I didn't like it much. My pet heals and damage were weak, and I actually died more than I do now, as Arcane. I've got far more Hp as well (3.1k with my Grief's Breath. ). And as long as I wear the Pdef necklace and belt, as well as the Pdef gear I carry with me, if I pop into Fox form, it hits 2800 without buffs.

Sooo in my opinion, I'd say Arcane is better because it allows for more flexibility, and you know you're strong against magic damage. LA is okay, but you don't really have a strong defense against phys or mag damage.

It's terribly, terribly easy to get plenty of vit out of an LA build.

Are you using a Requiem Blade? Because that weapon alone gives you 30-33 points of stat boosting goodness.
