n00b question: where to buy pets?

Topic, and how many coins sounds like a good price for a Crystalline Magmite?

    You catch your pets yourself. :) Or you can but pet eggs from players. A magmite shouldnt cost more than 3-4k. At least if you look in city of lost..

    Okay, thank you, I thought there was an NPC you bought it from. And only 4k coins? Cool, I have at least 100k, and magmites are known as the golems, correct?

    I'm of the opinion that you shouldn't go and buy a magmite. Just warp to Etherblade and go northwest (I think it was that way) and you'll run into them. Make sure you have space in your inventory and catch a few. Keep one for yourself and then sell the others. I made an easy 15k doing this and got a rocking pet. I'm level 28 and I'm still using my magmite. Wish it was a bit smaller so he wouldn't get in my way but all around he's a great pet.
