Blood Bracers of Feng - worthless for Wiz?

I bought this and the sleevs of sea captain b/c I wear both armor sets, but now I'm finding the only time I don't want the reduced channeling is when I'm zhenning, which is now never. Worthless for mage?

    if you honestly believe -%channeling sleeves are useless to a mage then you are either

    a. are dumb (most likely)

    well actually i cant really see any other reason

    I'ma Light Armor mage...I have to say, the Bracers are quite nice. But only if you're an LA mage. You go pure, then stay with the Captain Sleeves...they are made of win and awesome. ~.^

    I stick to BBoF for the hp/def in PvP. I switch to SoSC for DDing/grinding.
    Wondering how much longer these **** packs are going to be around.

    the lvl 26 : read the post first please

    i AM light armor, what i'm saying is i cant really find when i would take the captain sleevs off just for the Pdef. One person in here mentioned taking them off for Pvp, but really you're saying sacking 6% channeling is worth the extra Pdef?

    Yeah, with Earth Barrier the pdef difference is like 600, and it helps a lot more against physical classes than some -6% channeling, which you'll hardly feel in pvp. It's quite a lot more HP too. +2 bracers already give 150 HP with no shards, so you're looking at a minimum of 200 extra HP if it's +2 with only 2 average shards.

    just keep both of them
    you might restat earlier than 90 and your gonna need some decent armor
    when i restated i had to use NPC armor for 4 lvls
    it might be helpful to have some decent armor to change into
    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    You confused me here, I am restatting to robe, so why would I hang onto it for that reason?


    But all points considered, yes I need to be using that in TW instead of sea captain
