Which armor for 90++ (LA vs Arc.)

The whole game I've been a light armor statted mage, but now that I'm in the mid 80's I realize I probably need to concentrate on one set of TT90 armors, since I won't be able to get both.

I'm realizing the use for light armor less and less these days, I love it for PW but starting to think that just having a much larger Mdef, larger Mattack, and just trying to not get hit would be the way to go.

I know I already take a good chunk less damage in my light armor and b/c of my stats when it comes to phys attacks, but when I'm wearing my arcane armor I feel a bit dumb b/c I'm cutting my attack power by 30% and still cutting down on my magic D.

Any thoughts/links on this? Probably beaten to death, delete if too many topics but I couldn't find one that really answered what I needed.
