Undline for PvE?

I recently bought undline (b:laugh) and was wondering how most people used it. Of course you use it for pvp, but I've tried it for PvE, but I'm finding it's not very practical. Using up 600 mp (almost double my normal skills) makes it not very desirable to someone using an mp charm while grinding... just raises the mp cost per mob. I can only get off three skills (sandstorm/stone rain/sandstorm) before it runs out, and I usually only get a sandstorm/stone rain before the mob is right on me where I end up kiting it or needing to heal myself after every mob :( Im not really sure about this, but it seems like the extra damage you get from undline in three skills doesn't amount to just another skill, (like if you do an extra 3k,2k,3k dmg... and a skill does 9k dmg normally... you'd actually be better off just not using undline at all) Anyway, was just curious what other people thought. What circumstances do you use undline in PvE, (besides grinding with a few wizzy friends... where one undline would increase damage for every1 in your party)

    Its not practical for PvE.
But its very good for magic resistant mobs.
    That's about it...
And increased life mobs if you don't have spark.

But extreme poison replaces it for increased life.
So yes, its very pvp oriented.

It's more for pvp and bosses, in pve the mana/benefit ratio is just outrageous, unless u figt a Magic Res mob. That little trick make u stop avoiding magic resistance mobs. Combined with some genie skill, Magic res becomes a usual kill

You say magic resist mobs... does the extra damage you do with undline make up for more than just a regular skill? (i.e. undline makes you do an extra 1k dmg for 3 hits... 3k dmg.. and if you were to hit the mob for 4k... undline would be useless) Has anybody tested this with real numbers?

From memory with undine it's about half of what you'd normally do on a non-mag resistant mob.
