    I see that my 1st video is not listed under PWIchannel page. Why??

    Looked at the videos and it seems you guys have put alot of effort in them. Excellent videos guys b:pleased

    Just a suggestion for the GM's/Judges - even though there are first, second and third prizes for the best entries, the hard work and time that has been invested in these vidos should be complemented. Maybe award all participants boutique items - nothing fancy just charm packs or something similar maybe?

    The participants, clearly, are devoted to PWI, such devotion deserves credit. I understand the rules have been published and it might not be possible but hey it's just a suggestion (it will make me and I am sure the rest very very happy b:victory)

    *sigh* you guys!! I wish I had lesser work committments I would love to give the contest a bash b:sad

    May the best entry win ... all the best

    P.S more videos guys please, if you think you can do it definately give it a go. You could have been the winner had you entered the contest is a bad bad feeling to have .. there is still time

    you know if we got them when....
    a) you sent your video to events@perfectworldinc.com
    b) you gave us a youtube link, and your vid is on our Summer Action Blockbuster Trailer Playlist

    If you didn't give us a youtube link, assume we received it, as long as you typed our e-mail address correctly there should be no issues.

    There is one exception to this, one person who sent us a video over the weekend has had their sound turned off by youtube (copyright blahs), I may have not put this on the playlist as it was incomplete. It was not incomplete due to the fault of the player, however if you check and see that this happened to your video please try to upload another copy and send us a link.

    You may probably be referring to my video.... I have earlier stated in my post that I didn't add music background from the start to middle of my video. It's beacuse I am hearing-impaired player. I want you players to understand the silence and look at what they say in video. I only added music and chorus part from middle to ending of my video, for climax effect.

    My apologies if the sound seems out of place. I was not able to hear the music well.....no choice for me :) I may not win at all but at least I won over my weakness to try something new-video editing!

    Btw, I'll be submitting my 2nd video IF my faction are all free to help me :)

    That's a thoughtful gesture from you! Yup, I felt the same. When I watched the videos, all I saw was not fancy graphics, awesome clips and marvellous editings BUT their sweats, their sacrifices and finally their determination to produce a video we all can enjoy no matter how crappy it is. I can attest to that feeling because I am one of the participants. Making videos is not an easy work, especially for those who are just new to this world of filmography.

    Let's give ourselve a pat on our backs for our works regardless of the result!

    That got me thinking too!

    Per server would be too good but I doubt so because the staff will need to know the majority per server. Let's say for example:

    Lost City 20 participants
    Heaven's Tear 10 participants
    Sanctuary 3 particiapnts
    Harshlands 7 participants
    Dreamweaver 1 participant

    Judging from that, would it be fair to us? Sanctuary and Dreamweaver have it easy becasue not many participants in these 2 servers.

    So only way to win fair and square is to award top 3 in any servers.

    BUT I can say for sure about the levels of players! Higher lvl players would be able to film themselves displaying awesome skills and kill bigger mobs than the low lvl players. So to counter that, creativity plays a crucial role :)

    Thats what I did in my first video to get different classes filmed and different skills by different people.. I used many different people in the video.. Took me a whole day to find enough people, it are not only friends in the video... Cause it was on a saturday or sunday and then most people are off of my friends....

    no there was one that literally said "the sound has been disabled due to copyright issues" it definitely wasn't yours :P
