Saving up items for TT.

I've had a few people/guides tell me that a Wizard in their mid-50s should start saving up crafting items for their TT's.
What does this mean exactly?
What do I need to craft an Arbor?

Once you hit lv60 you can start wielding the TT (twilight temple) weapons. The ones that glow green. It's probably smart to start saving money for them at 50 if you plan on buying the materials to make it which can cost about 300-400k. But if you're in a decent guild you can also just go into the twilight temple with some guildies and gather the materials. Shouldn't take you more that 2 or 3 runs for the ancient arbor.

Edit: For ancient arbor i believe all you need is 5 chientien's edges, 10 skeleton bones and 1 ultimate substance.

Mid mats are also very important to save.
The full HH90 set (4 pieces) requires 48 subs total.
That's 240 of each mid mat...
Buying subs can get expensive fast, so save up your midmats.
You also need subs to farm the HH mats itself as well.

    So, start saving =)

or just save some cash and buy it refined and sharded.
I bought my arbor when I was 57 or 58 with 2 mils, +4 with 2x20 shards on it.
Sold it with 2.2 mil yesterday, I rotated it in AH for about a week. No hurry there.
I bought my TT70 wand +4 with 2 mils when I was 65 or 67. So, basically, if u think about it, I exchanged my TT60 wpn for a TT70 one + 2ook. Now I started hunting for a TT80. I don't want the glaive which is easy to find, I'm going for the - channeling. Would be hard to get, but not impossible.

No one will sell a TT80 weapon, as everything will use it to make the TT90 weapon.

    Not true, CeliaZ.
Some people who went Yaksa will sell it since they'd be going Wheel of Denied Fate at 90, or for venomancers who prefer to stay with requiem blade, would then sell their 80 weapon also.

Hmmm allright, good point. But why would veno's stay with requiem?

It was a splurt of the moment...
I meant to say people who decide to stay with requiem blade while talking to a venomancer friend who was gonna use requiem blade as an end game weapon =P

    My apologies.

Well, you'll see a lot more Heavy Armor venos post-90 than you will of the other magic classes, and Requiem Blade is quite useful to meet the stat reqs of that build.

Of course, heavy mage is ultimate mage. More pdef same dmg. b:chuckle
