Help!!!

Ok guys I need help. My wizard is lvl 15 almost 16 (a light armor wizard)
i jsut finished a quest that gave me an arcane armor
the light armor Im using gives +3 phys resist and +5 to each elemental resist
the arcane armor has +23 phys resist and +205 to each elemental resit
my friend lvl 60 says i should always use light armor... i ask why if the arcane is better... he says because light armors are better and because of my attribute points i put in i should go for light armor, but my current attribute points also allow me to use that particular arcane armor
which should I use, In my opinion i should use the best armor i can find that im able to use depending on my attribute points
does using an arcane robe really change anything on my guy..like will he "magically warp" into a phail-wizard because im a light armor build using an arcane robe at a low lvl? thanks alot

    If the arcane armour has better stats than the light armour, than yes of course use the arcane

    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    yup thats one of the best parts of being light armor build is that u can use arcane armor. I carry 2 sets of armor on me light and arcane. Use light when im fighting physical things and arcane when their magic. As for choosing which is better when u get a quest reward i just compare my armor with the ones they offer and see which one can benifit me more or if neither benifit me i take the one worth more and sell it.
