Patching..

So I just downloaded the game... Patching now.

Anyone have any idea at all how long this should take :S?

    maybe 30-45 mins on a good connection?
    quite a while if yours is slow, if it errors, go and download the manual patch for this version, its nice and easy :P

    Patching and updating always takes a while. But yes, it depends on your connection. You're always going to have to wait a bit, though.

    Uhohhhh

    Well my net seems to be awful these past 2 days, it took me around 4-5 hours to download Perfect World (2.4gb)

    So, I'm working on a speed of around 150kb/s

    then it shouldnt take long at all, come join sanctuary, ill be there with plenty of helpful advice, and our server has one of the highest populations

    Na.. dude, if you wanna roll with Pros... Pick a PvP Server.

    We eat carebears for breakfast and all of us are in Red and dying to meet you when you hit level 30!... And yes, PvP Server ppl are friendly, just like me!

    P.S. PvP Servers = Happier PvE Experience, but that's just what everyone else says.

    It should take you 3-5 minutes for a normal update patch.

    If the progress bar stalls for more than a minute, close an restart.

    Not sure how often they update the game client, but they should do that every new patch release.

    yes manual patches seem to work fastest frankly (well for larger patches) and sometimes when people are having problems with the autopatch the manual works wonders

    manual patches dont have to deal with bandwidth issues either
