Which attribute points should i give my currently only level 3 Longetivity?
And which to add in future?
I am going for a supportive / curse build (e.g Ext. Poison)
~ Thanks b:victory

What attribute points you place is going to vary on the skills that you decide to get.
Each skill has one of the 4 attributes attached meaning that they will need more of one or the other to increase the power of the skill.
Genie Guide
What are STR, DEX, VIT and MAG stats on my genie mean?
STR: Determine damage out put of skills
DEX: Determine effect of skills -duration
VIT/WIL: MP pool
MAG/INT: MP Recovery and the skills learnable (each 50 INT = +1 MP recovery).
STR: 1 point of str adds about 1% damage to a genies skills
DEX: 1 point of dex increases the range, duration and success rate of status effects
VIT/WIL: 1 point of vit increases the max energy of your genie by 1
MAG/INT: 40 points of magic gives your genie 1 more skill slot to learn a skill
50 points of magic increases the energy recovery rate by 1/sec

Good to see you're planning ahead. Study the skills you want to take and see which attribute points enhance the skills most, normally its Dex for most cursing/buffing skills.
Forget Str unless you want a skill that causes damage. Most people avoid damage causing genie skills but I can see some uses when a quick strike from a genie can finish someone off quickly.
Vitality is worth adding to get your genies energy bar sufficient enough to cast 2 skills in quick succession, i.e. Extreme Poison + Frenzy uses 130 energy. Some of the higher level skills use upwards of 180 energy which is a lot of points into Vit.
Magic adds to energy regeneration, and at 40 points in Mag you can add a 4th skill. I personally dont see much point in trying for 5 skills myself, i've left mine at 40.
Important things to remember:
Adding attribute points above 40 costs 2 points per 1 attribute point increase, except for your genies nascent attribute.
Bonuses from dex usually occur in multiples of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and so on. So having 27 points of dex for example has no benefit better to leave at 20 or pump to 30 when possible. Check skills for their dex bonus increments.
Keep in mind affinity points when choosing genie skills, not all combinations of skills are possible.
If you can afford it ditch a genie if it gets low lucky rolls in its first 30 levels, in the long run high lucky rolls will benefit you a lot more as you'll have more attribute points to throw around.
Most of this may be in RedsRose's guide already but thought I'd just throw my thoughts out there and hopefully get some discussion going b:pleasedI like pie0 -
I am very new to PW (been playing my wizard for 4 days) and am also trying to plan ahead. Regarding my Genie I'm trying to get abilities that are best for PvE with a magic base of 40 giving me 4 skills. From what I've read Extreme Poison and Frenzy seem to be the no brainer abilities. Any solid suggestions for two additional PvE skills?
Also, I'm assuming Dex should be my main Genie stat for this build?0 -

Yes and no....once again it is going to depend on the skills you are going for but so far looks like Dex is going to be the way for you to go.
And Like Ty stated, leaving DEX not at a solid number is kind pointless. Keep it in the ten's.
Look ahead at the Skill's list and see what you are going for. I am always recommending Tree of Protection. It is an awesome skill to have for emergencies.
