Possible genie trade state bug

Is there some kind of bug with trade state and genies? I noticed that I lost hours when deequipping or swapping genies with the counter, i'm not exactly sure on this though.

    There is a counter? Where does this counter show up? I noticed it changed to "switching to trade ready", but I did not see any clock that said how much time was left.

    for the 20th time hours count up not down, go to trade switch menu and it displays hours
