Since lucky points are random every 10 levels, it's a mistake to dump genie for say 2/10 because it can be 92/100 - as well as 20/20 can become 28/100. Better way is level genie up to 50 or 60 and only then make decisions: 20/60 cannot be better than 60/100. Even better way IMO is to keep genie as it is until higher levels (about 9X i think), at least if you are not very unlucky.

Considering how much it costs in SP and XP to level a genie, I'd keep the genie no matter what the stats, at least until I'm 9x and have sp (and maybe xp depending on my leveling plans) to spare. Only then would I even think about discarding a genie simply because it had low lucky points. Also remember that, for many skills, stats don't have that huge of an effect. Considering the difference between worst and best is only 90 stat points, and that, past 45, it takes 2 points to raise a stat, that's only a 45 point difference in a stat. That's about 1-2 seconds or a couple % difference in most status effects. For Str it may be a sizable impact (45% extra dmg), but how many of us are actually using DD genies? For Vit that's just 45 more energy (one extra skill before you run out). For Mag that's enough to get you 1 extra energy/sec, and maybe enough for one extra skill slot.

All in all, not a huge difference, I'd say. Especially considering that teh best benefits from things like Lightning Chaser and Tree of Protection aren't even stat dependant (cancel channeling and heal 50% in 6 seconds).

That's how I feel, as well. I have a Genie with 10/40, 2 with 21/30, and one with 10/30. Really, since the high end Dex skills need like 40, or 100 to gain any boost whatsoever, I just said **** it, and put 20 Dex in for a boost on the low ones, and pumped the rest into Vit. Now, As for Str... I make sure that I have enough Vit to fire a spell, and put the rest into it, since each point is a 1% gain. I've got a genie right now with 30 Str. I'm hitting 3k on 73 mobs with her powerful attack, and that's level 1, and she's only level 32. I plan on pumping the **** out of that Str. Can't wait to get it to 50, 60, or more. *laughs maniacally*

You just have to make sure you get over 61 total so your genie looks cool.

To get to 61+ lucky out of 90 levels you need to average about 70% luck.
Upgrading from 60 to 70 costs hundreds of times more sp / xp than from 1 to 30. You only have so many shots at making a lucky genie to 61+ but making one to 30 just costs some coin.

Because of this, if you want a pretty lucky genie it is not worth leveling if it starts off unlucky. I throw away genies that are < 70% lucky.

I started a new genie and it has 18/20 points so far. Looking good though I know it can turn bad at anytime.

it seems to me that i get the same lucky points every time. just now i have one that is 6 / 30. each time i got 2 per 10 lvls. i have a 48 one on my veno and she is 28/40. i didnt pay attention to the times n between cause it happened so fast but the last 2 i got 6 then 8. so r u telling me that i may get 10 on the lvl 20 next time and 1 or 2 on the 48?

I could not participate in your poll because I will be going about it differently. My plan is to level 20 or 30 genies up to level 10 and keep the ones that get the most lucky points (I have not decided exactly how many that will be since it will depend in part on my results). If I get too many low results I will probably level 50 genies up to level 10 instead. Then I will take those that got high lucky points and level all of them up to 20. Then I will either pick the best one and use it for the rest of my character's life or I will take all the best ones and level them all up to 30. At that point I will definitely take the best one and use it for the rest of my character's life. Hopefully I will not get bad results for all of the levels from 40+, but by making sure I have great results for the first 20 to 30 levels I can greatly increase my odds of getting a genie with 61+ lucky points. More than 61 is ideal, but the odds of getting great results are too small. I will settle for simply having the most evolved genie possible.

Unless you have the exp/spirit to spare, you might as well keep it even if it's something like 9/90. Even a crappy genie can have some nice buffs/debuffs taught to it that don't change in any significant way due to stats. The only real difference is if the genie will be stuck at 1 use per minute, or at 5 different skills.

Given the amount of time and money spent, you're better off just spending that coin you were going to use buying mirages for making genies, and just buy an inventory stone so you can swap them out as needed.
