Quick one about shards...

Is it possible to remove a shard from a slot? I don't really care so much about keeping the shard, but it's more about using the slot for something else..

    The "purify" option from people like the blacksmith will destroy all shards in your weapon, but leave them available for further sharding.

    I haven't actually *done* this, so confirmation from someone else would be nice.

    Yes, using the purify option from the blacksmith removes shards from weapons.

    Be warned purify destroys all shards and frees all sockets.
    So you can't remove a particular one while keeping another.
