Words of wisdom from Duke Blacke

As interpreted by ZephyrX.

"The chicken will become a goose, which will become a goat, which will become a bull. Wait for the bull to grow up, and we will be able to destroy Wraiths!"

-Duke Blacke

Ah... Duke Blacke, such widsom. It means that if you want to make a kick **** ownage guild. You shouldn't recruit those arrogant lv 70s who require you to pay 1 million each year to keep their service. Instead, you should go after lvl 20 noobs who are poor as heck and pay them 1 coin a day to keep them in your guild. Then help them level up to level 70.

And when they get lv 70, their fee is still 1 coin a day (lol... wt noobs!!). So you will have an epic army of high lvls to own wraiths for cheap.

....you do realize that now your *genius plan* is posted in a mostly noob area right?...they're not gunna fall for it now.

And besides if this did work, when they get to lv 70 and another guild offers to pay them 1 mil....they will go..."hmmm i get one coin a day....or i could get 1 mil a year...bye old guild ^_^"

even though im new...I wouldn't even fall for it. in the begining of the game i make 5 coins per monster...people are not that dumb>.>

now if you said 500-1k that i would fall for XD (to about lv 20 when people start making 150 coins per monster)

Actually its 10 coin for a rumor....and pay attention to what he says cause some of it is valuable, like refining spots. And if you are taking Zephryx this seriously you are noob, so +1 for him, and fail for you

Refining is important in higher levels for robe users, mainly for a pvp or territory war experience. Refinement of armor = HP additions, and for phys def accessories like necklaces and such it increases the original phys def.
Duke Blacke will say "if you want to refine something to +3 go speak with (insert npc name here)" Take a mirage stone and visit them for a refining. Tried it once and it worked. Also tried lucky mode and traded frags for mirage stone when he mentioned the gem dealer was in a good mood or something. That "lucky" stone was also a successful refinement. He also gives tips like refining between certain times like after maintenance, or after a failure, refine a lower level item and try refining the item again. What the duke says can ring true....

Refinement can also be done to your weapons, and who doesnt like higher dmg in pk and pve? The cost of refining a weapon is higher though at 2 mirage instead of one but worth it if u can get longer life out of your weapon. I jsut sat and talked to blacke for a few minutes spent 100 coin or so going through all his rumors, the expensive part is refining. Save up those fragments and Celestones to get your free mirages b:laugh

..is it true clerics arn't stronger until lv 50?( cuz im lv 25...and i want to have a goal)

p.s. hehe good thing i never sold any of those! (i like jems, it breaks my heart when i have to get rid of any...so i don't XD)

    Tips for a robed cleric-

Iron heart before attacking is your best defense.
Cyclone em first for a slow down and alternate between that and plume shot.
Don't be afraid to stop attacking and throw Iron heart again if you need it.
Plume Shell is your best friend in a physical mob situation.

If you still have pure hearted blessing i would suggest forgetting that skill even exists and move on to your iron heart asap. A lot of clerics i talk to who are having issues at those levels are using pure hearted.

Purehearted= long casting time (more times enemy can hit u)-One heal (one spike in hp)-waste of spirit for other skills

Iron heart= Very short casting time (0.5 seconds)-Heal over time (a few spikes in your hp) - Stackable (more then one heal at once!)

Lots of great info on the cleric section on the forum :)

O_O....ooooo...no wonder iv been dieing so much >.> (hehe didn't lv purheart XD i did read forums XD...but i lved wellspring surge to lv 3 T.T a guide said it was one of the most used skills (2nd to iron heart of course) in both pve and pvp (since you get hp ASAP)

iv tried to use ironheart first...but it always wears off before themonster gets to me. and while im healing and its attacking...i die.

Purehearted= long casting time (cast when safe, don't cast in the middle of a battle. This is long channel heal, it is not made for emergency heal.)-One heal (one spike in hp)-MAX MAX MAX!!!!!!

I beg to disagree. Personally I maxed this heal and it is one of the best heals for a TT dungeon. One pureheart = super heal!! You should max this skill after Ironheart for any cleric who does dungeon raids. This is your best 1 shot healing. for PvP, this heal is slow, but it will recover a ton of HP.

MAX MAX MAX... get the Sage or Demon version for even more kickass healing.

Ok I can live with that edit. I personally will either go for wellspring or rejuvination stream in a crunch. I may decide to try this spell at level 6 with the channeling it may prove better then without. It hasnt ben on my bar since Iron heart came along lol.
Lol i love how this started to be a duke blacke thread and it sidetracked....ok people back on topic nowb:surrender
