I would like to start this thread with "Stop sending ninja faction invites!!!"

Today I was in Whetstone Keep and I was given a ninja faction invite, which I accidently accepted because I knew that one of my squad-mates was going to trade with me. So I accidently accepted and I searched around frantically for faction settings in order to leave the faction. I am not in a faction so I already expect some several players asking me to join their faction, however I do not appreciate the sudden "oh you are factionless, here's an easy invite without getting to know the actual player in the first place." Is that too hard of a question to ask?

Now, I do have some respect for players who ask nicely via whisper to join their faction because it is more out of common courtesy and I appreciate the time they take to ask. I don't however appreciate those who ninja invite me because it is really out of rudeness.

I really do not want this thread to turn into a faction vs. factionless debate. Yes I do understand that if I joined a faction, the invites would cease. But why should I do that? Being factionless is simply a personal decision me and some offline friends have made, because we feel that we have each other and we do not need a faction. I have NOTHING against factions, I just do not feel they are right for me.

However, I would like some feedback about the ninja invites. Though I really wish there was an option in the game which allows players to ignore faction invites as a whole, all I ask is for players to be more considerate for those who are not in a faction, and not use ninja invites. Whether this seems to be a rant or not, which it really isn't, I just want to see what others felt about this.

    Join the faction, then say how crappy it is...

    Click "Leave Faction"... and continue the process b:laugh

    Sorry, I did not fully read your post. Make your own faction just for you and invites will stop.

    Yeah I'm not too keen on the whole faction spamming ninja invites.

    If I want to join a faction I'll ask

    If someone wants to invite me to a faction they should ask me first before spamming me.

    Says alot for the factions that randomly spam and take on any member and their organisation...

    I myself am factionless too, look at my level and imagine how many invites a day I get >_>;

    Saying that someone should make a faction to stop faction invites is ridiculous. Why should we be hounded every day because of this personal choice?

    The fact is that this game needs an "ignore faction invites" option - we have one for squads, we have one for trades, where's the one for factions? It can't be that hard to implement.

    I was with Suki when this incident happened - the person also sent me a ninja-invite and I had a few choice words for him afterward. Usually I just ignore the person when they do this, but this incident was a little different and I had some steam to blow off anyway (we'd just done an fb69 where the last boss partywiped us 3 times before we got him).



    Ninja invites = rude, lazy and desperate. Like anything else in life, you get out of a faction invite what you put into it. Take some time to get to know the person first. Better to keep track of 5 people you know and like than 50 people you've never even met.

    im in a faction but ppl keep buggin me 2 leave my current and join theirs >.>

    i get probably about 10 invites a day depending on where i am and what im doing, it would be good if there was an auto reply or an ignore option for faction invites (if there is one then someone tell me where it is).

    I have also had faction members refuse to squad me for a boss, unless i joined them, which i find very rude. I politely told him where to shove his guild.

    But, i am finding this game becoming a lot harder to play now without the help of people and i think i need to become a more sociable player (i dont have a single person in my friend list)

    u can join our faction were fun, socialand well fun xD (alu tels me to stop being rude but oh well i only said ''duh <.<)
