How to delete automatic patch?

My friend needs help deleting the recent patch( she used automatic update), so she didn't really have any "downloaded" patches. Or does she have to unintstall and reinstall the game? My friend said after the new patch, she have a blue screen appearing when she turns on her laptop. When the blue screen appears, she has to force turn off her laptop.Please help!b:cryb:sad
