What's a busy person to do?

Really it's such a problem to play an mmo and still have a busy life. I started a faction back when dreamweaver opened and I thought I could build it up to be strong. But life got in the way and it sort of flopped, now I'm thinking of disbanding and just joining a guild but because I have a life I'm offline for days at a time and can't seem to keep a spot in a guild that does TW (what I've been wanting to do since I started playing PW). So I want people's opinions on this predicament.
