Lol despite the fact that probably my seven year old son could figure this out. I am totally confused on how to use this thing. Please if someone can post some type of explanation or genie manual I'd greatly appreciate it. Please include detailed listing of what everything does. I have a veno and a cleric and i can't figure out what's best for either one. ;_; I don't understand how the five elemental thing works, i don't understand the luck points or the difference between a vit genie and a magic one.
Please someone take the time out to make something to help others understand it. Pictures would help a lot too.
Please don't flame this thread, people learn at different paces and others need more help than normal. Since in other threads I have stated that i do have a disability I really hope someone would help me. I am serious about needing help with it. I know there are a lot of people confused about how to work it. Thank you.

In shor terms:
4 types or genie, four colors. What changes is the attribute that starts with 15 points.
Could be 15 Dex, 15 Vit, 15 Str, 15 Magic, depending on which stat is the higher, the color of genie will vary, and also their initial skill.
Lucky points= every ten lvls og genie, at 10-20-30 and so on, you get "free" attribute points to use on your genie, these attribute points are random between 1 to 10, the most you get, the more attribute you will have to use on your genie, and ofc genie will be better.
Elemental: every 5 lvls I think you get one elemental point. This elemental points are to be used to chose which "element attribute" you want to raise.
Skills have pre-requisite. It might be 3 water 3 earth, or 6 wood, depending on which skills you want your genie to learn, you need to learn different elemental affinities.0 -
Don't worry about the Luck points. They don't matter much until the genie is level 100 anyway. Basically, though, the ones that end up having 100/100 are super uber rare and special (somehow...) while others will have 10/100 (not so great) and the others will be in between. But that's a long, long way away from where most of us are now XD
The five elements, the genie's affinity, are used to help it get skills. Bring up the list of skills, and pick three that you would like to teach your genie. When your genie reaches the level required for the skill, it will also need the element points mentioned in the description. (like, 1 Wood, 1 Water, 1 Earth to learn Tree of Protection at level 10.)
The Genie can learn 3 skills (5 maximum if your genie has 80 in Magic stats). So, before you start building your genie's skills, look at all the ones available and see which ones you'd most like to use. Then, write down what levels your genie can get them, and what Element points it will need. Please be sure to check the Sticky about Genie Skill Typos before learning any skills though - the English is wrong on some of them. Once you know what skills you want to teach your genie, you can start giving it Affinity points in the elements it will need to learn those skills.
As for what Genie is best for what class, it doesn't matter. What matters more is the skills you want to teach it. If you want to teach it attack skills, you want a genie with a lot of Strength so it hits harder. If you want to teach it healing, buffing, and debuffing skills, you want a genie with a lot of Dexterity so that the skills last longer and work more often. If you want the genie to regain its Energy (yellow bar) quickly, and have more skill slots available, you want one with a lot of Magic. And if you want one with a big yellow Energy Bar, you want more Vitality.
The blue Stamina bar cannot be changed by stats. You build it up by giving the Genie Chi stones - Yijuan and Perfect, among others.
The genie does not affect your own stats. It's just an extra spell-holder.

Thank you for the thread link. I have another question? What does energy on the genie do? Also, what would you recommend a cleric or a veno to have. Right now my veno have a vit genie and i wanted my cleric to get the gold one but it got a pink one instead. Oh thank you so far for explaining it really is helping me to understand it better.
Also what elements do you think is good for a cleric to look into. Like my cleric >.< dies a lot soloing mobs. I probably have enough spirit right now to level the thing to 100 lol. Anyway i wanted something where archers in the field not pvp don't just off me with three shots. My vit is like 65 and magic is 200 now. I'm also level 55. >.< maybe i should get a barb partner to play with me.0 -
You can't level your genie past your own level, so keep your Spirit for you own skills They're stronger than the genie skills anyway.
The pink genie is the "attack" one. But there are mixed reviews about how well it can actually attack when leveled. Jury is still out on that one.
The yellow energy bar is used for the genie's skills, like Mana for ours. But it also uses some from the blue Stamina bar, too. the yellow Energy bar recharges with time (faster if the genie has high Magic), but the blue Stamina bar can only be refilled by dragging Chi stones from your inventory onto your Genie's icon within your Inventory window.
As for what genie type to get for your characters, think about their weaknesses, and read through all the descriptions in the Skills window. there are a ton to choose from, and it's up to you. As a Mage, I kept my genie's starter skill, which takes away elemental resistance - I use three kinds of elemental attacks, so that's a plus for my class Because my genie is the green Dex genie, I'm not getting any attack skills. I'm getting skills that buff (boost) me (such as Tree of Protection for healing HP) and debuff others. This will let me make up for my own weakness, and give more to others.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Think hard on what your characters weakness is,, and try to supplement with your genie..0
