Can't decide on a class; + a few newbie questions

I've been going through each class, trying to rule as many out as possible...so far ive gotten like 1 1/2 out b:sweat.
I plan on TWing quite a bit at higher levels if i find a good guild (b:beg)
Thanks for all of your time everyone. I really appreciate it. b:shy
- Veno - I dont really like veno, idk why, i just dont really like the gameplay, and i dont really find it worth it since i dont even plan on getting a legendary pet, (i also have other reasons, but id prefer to keep them to myself.)
- Barbarian - level 11 (as of me writing this) not too fun, slow leveling, misses quite a bit, not very good attack power, i dont see how leveling at this part is "a breeze." I also realize I've only just scratched the surface of this class. As of now, not really liking it, but i think id be willing to give it a try.
- Blademaster - high 1x's quite a bit like barb except mainly the attack power and slow leveling, decent leveling. I dont think I'd ever be able to pick a profession in a weapon, but i really think im going to give this guy a try.
- Magician - Mid 2x's decent leveling, trains a little faster than melee people because of range, and now even more because of healing spell. Pretty fun, I would definitely continue this guy if i had some extra reassurance on what they are like at later levels.
- Cleric - High 1x's, a lot like magician. Pretty fun, really like the revive spell, even though i dont really save people anything more than the time it takes to run back from town. Healing and Buffs i really like, this is a really good class if i get bored, because then i can just follow some lower leveled people around and heal/help them with quests.
- Archer - Lower 2x's decent leveling, pretty fun. I have a slight problem with watching my arrow supply b:sweat. Ive been told they are the best (or one of the best) in terms of PvP and TW abilities by default.
I plan on TWing quite a bit at higher levels if i find a good guild (b:beg)
- Mounts - How often do you use your mounts? What is the speed of mounts without using cash shop mounts or yiyuan/accelerate? Should i even consider that Winged Elves can fly the fastest without having to use the CS when choosing my character(s)?
- Genies - I got a genie on one of my characters and have found that I dont really think they are worth it. Should I use a genie? How helpful will they be? (this is if they fix the system since ive seen a couple threads about it being "broken")
- Role(s) - What is (insert class here)'s role while in a party? During a Territory War?
- Cash Shop Influence - I plan on spending little (and hopefully no) money on cash shop items. What class is the best without using RL Money? What class is worst? Can this class still manage without zen/money?
Thanks for all of your time everyone. I really appreciate it. b:shy

I'll try and answer what I can below:
[*]Veno - I dont really like veno, idk why, i just dont really like the gameplay, and i dont really find it worth it since i dont even plan on getting a legendary pet, (i also have other reasons, but id prefer to keep them to myself.)
Good soloer. Makes good money. Most high levels make a veno alt to fund their main (if they have the time).
[*]Barbarian - level 11 (as of me writing this) not too fun, slow leveling, misses quite a bit, not very good attack power, i dont see how leveling at this part is "a breeze." I also realize I've only just scratched the surface of this class. As of now, not really liking it, but i think id be willing to give it a try.
As a barb you wont be tanking anything until level50+. Its a mistake I made too. Make a damage dealer build (more str/dex less vit) until you're 25-30ish. This gives reasonable attack and acuracy. Then start adding vit, so by the time you're 50 you turn into a tanker build. The barb is a late bloomer and really starts to shine at 60+. Its the most gear and stats dependent class. Your gear can make you or break you. This is also why its one of the most expensive (high repair + charms costs) and levels slowest since it does a fraction of the other classes damage. Its in your best interests to grind in party with another class. Cleric is preferred.
[*]Blademaster - high 1x's quite a bit like barb except mainly the attack power and slow leveling, decent leveling. I dont think I'd ever be able to pick a profession in a weapon, but i really think im going to give this guy a try.
Similar to barb. A lot less HP, much more attack. Multitasks to a point. Levels easier than a barb. Different weapon paths allow to do different things, for e.g. axe/hammer is the aoe grinder.
[*]Magician - Mid 2x's decent leveling, trains a little faster than melee people because of range, and now even more because of healing spell. Pretty fun, I would definitely continue this guy if i had some extra reassurance on what they are like at later levels.
Most say the wizard has the hardest time at low levels since he dies a lot. Wizards are the ultimate damage dealers and really start to shine at later levels (80+)
[*]Cleric - High 1x's, a lot like magician. Pretty fun, really like the revive spell, even though i dont really save people anything more than the time it takes to run back from town. Healing and Buffs i really like, this is a really good class if i get bored, because then i can just follow some lower leveled people around and heal/help them with quests.
Most expensive class of all. Lots of charm costs. Also gear dependent. Always in demand for a party. Can do decent damage, but the heals is what sets them apart.
[*]Archer - Lower 2x's decent leveling, pretty fun. I have a slight problem with watching my arrow supply b:sweat. Ive been told they are the best (or one of the best) in terms of PvP and TW abilities by default.
Highest ranged physical damage. Fast leveling. Kites a lo so shouldnt have much repair costs if used properly. Ammo costs become insignificant at later levels. One of the best PKers, since their damage is physical (bad for arcane robes) and ranged (kites away the melee classes).
[*]Mounts - How often do you use your mounts? What is the speed of mounts without using cash shop mounts or yiyuan/accelerate? Should i even consider that Winged Elves can fly the fastest without having to use the CS when choosing my character(s)?
You fly on aerocraft you ride on mounts. You get a free aerocraft at lvl30 (which is slow as hell). You can buy better aerocrafts and faster mounts from CS or from other players catshops.
[*]Genies - I got a genie on one of my characters and have found that I dont really think they are worth it. Should I use a genie? How helpful will they be? (this is if they fix the system since ive seen a couple threads about it being "broken")
Genies are pointless until later levels, and are more geared for PvP purposes anyways. Lower levels will have better uses for their SP (like character skills b:chuckle)
[*]Role(s) - What is (insert class here)'s role while in a party? During a Territory War?
Cant say about TW since I've not yet been in one. But in a party (after everyone shares their buffs ofcourse):
1. Barb tanks and maintains aggro.
2. Cleric heals tank, and aoe heals party members in case of aoe attacks. Later clerics also cast continuous buffs that reduce damage or improve attack rate while healing.
3. BM is the damage dealer and a backup tank. If a stray mobs runs in during a boss fight, BM's the one who will go tank that.
4. Archer & Wizard are damage dealers. Period. their job is to kill things quick, while not stealing aggro.
5. Veno is the lurer of the group. When you want to pull one mob or the boss from that cluster of 20 other the veno's the one who will do that. The barb then jumps in when the target is cose to 'save' the veno b:chuckle. Also veno's are a reasonable damage dealer (they have some of the best debuffs) and are the only ones who can supply the barb with chi (which a barb needs tons of to keep aggro with higher level damage dealers around). Additionally there another advantage (bug?) of veno pets is that against the "?" bosses in places like TT the pets do full damage while all other classes damage is reduced by 75%. (So venos please remember to put off your pet's aggro skills when you want the barb to tank b:thanks)
[*]Cash Shop Influence - I plan on spending little (and hopefully no) money on cash shop items. What class is the best without using RL Money? What class is worst? Can this class still manage without zen/money?
Venos are really the only class that can get by comfortably without any charms/pots. All classes can manage without charms, but it gets a bit harder. Besides you don't have to spend RL money to get CS items. You can buy gold for ingame coin at the auction house and get CS items yourself or you can buy the CS items being sold by other players (in their kitty shops for e.g.) for ingame coin
Hope that helps! When the going gets tough; Get a tank!

I'd like to add to this but Hazardus pretty much summed it up. I have three characters above lvl 25:
My lvl 28 Barbarian, as Hazardus suggested, is completely reliant on his gears. I never carry a weapon with less than two slots infused with accuracy gems. He takes low damage and deals a fair amount, the increase in accuracy is a blessing.
My lvl 44 Archer was a blast until I ran out of money to upgrade his skills. He has incredible damage and really never takes damage, with the right skills of course. You need to be very careful on the skills you get if you chose to play an archer, so read the guides carefully.
My lvl 66 Venomancer is my favorite. Easy and fast leveling gets you a lot of money that you can splurge on other characters, if you chose, or things as worthless as fashion items. In the three months I've been playing I have made way over 17mill coins, a lot of which I spent on Source of Force for Hercules. This is in a combination of playing with gold dealing, never actually paying in real life though, and watching the market in archosaur carefully.
There's some input from my favorite classes.0 -
I've only played the ranged classes...
but yeah,
mages: starting in lvl 2x, it becomes a lot harder to survive because of the incredibly low hp and p. def. after lvl 6x, mages are easier to play. mages are good for pve solo, not really good at pvp till late lvls. mages only shine at high lvls like 8x+
clerics: damage output similar to mages, perhaps even better due to the magic atk buff. mages can't always get a cleric to buff them w/ the mag. atk. buff lol. however, cleric skills have less variety than mages. a good cleric almost never dies in pve due to the healing skills. clerics are also very popular and wanted in all guilds/parties. clerics can also aoe grind later on.
archer: does so much dmg lol. very strong class for pvp. stronger survivability due to wearing light armor as well.0 -

To add to the roles in TW;
Venomancer-
Debuff, Amp (Force target to take 20% more dmg for a period of time), priority on the tanks pulling catas, also send nix everywhere.
Barbarian-
Basically needed to win. They pull the catas, which are the only things that can do decent dmg on the crystal. They're chosen to pull the catas because of the high HP and def.
Wizard-
DD. Kill the Barbs pulling catas.
Archers-
DD. Kill the EPs that are healing the Barbs, then the EPs healing others, then other robe squishies (WF w/ nix)
Cleric-
Heal the WB that's pulling the cata, as they need to survive in order to get to the other base..
Heal other party members.
heal more.
BM-
Stun, stun, and stun more..
(did I mention stun?)
If you plan on TW'ing alot in a guild that doesn't get a stable salary, plan on spending RL money for charms.
I'm sure others can argue on different positions. but thats my 2 cents~0
