cant get bash to lvl 3

ya on my veno which is lvl 36 and the pet ( Golem) is too. I was tring to get bash up to lvl 3 so i bought a book that raises a pet skill one lvl. so i go to lvl up the bash to lvl 3 but it only lets me lvlv up SANDBLOW to lvl 2... WTF? do i have to be a certain lvl to get a lvl 3 bash or wat...plz tell me how to get bash to lvl 3.b:kiss

    20 (2)-40 (3)-60 (4)-80 (bash 5)

    Thats why u cant get it, u need to be lvl 40 and also the golem to get bash 3
