Reset Note

Hi ,
i have this question about the reset note ( the one that takes away 50 points from one atrtibute) , So i have 34 points at mag , and i want to reset them all , if i use the 50 poit reset note , will it work ? or because i only have 34 in that skill it wont let me use it ?

It will work though whatever you can't use will just be lost.
