Hmmm, with Mirs stones going through the roof, will this make cube runs unaffordable or at least not worth the cost? Also since assuming cube runs are going to be more rare, it will make chips more rare and therefor molds that can be created from chips. I can't wait to see the in game economy as a result of this

pretty sure most cube runners are hh runners so the mirage celestone prices will not affect them.

doubt the 3 mirage celestone price tag on a genie will make that big of a splash in the economy

The stones are going to be expensive only for a few days, until when people realize that mirages are not the rarity, its the SP/exp/cash to build up each genie.

So eventually, the demand would go down and prices will go back to normal. Will take a week or two tho.

People buying mirages at more than what they usually buy for cubing are idiots. Some of them who stubbornly buy at lower end might have to raise their expenditures a bit but if you're already buying mirages 25K (mirages used to be 23-25K in HT), then it's silly to spend more than that.

But why would you run the cube when you can sell each stone easy for 100-200k???

So 15 mirages per run is 1.5mil-2mil you could have sold them for.

Prices are a reflection of the mad rush to see the new and shiny stuff. Morgul has most of it, but I think another thing that will see prices go back down is the lack of general usefulness. A lot of skills seem to be bugged and the cost of recharging endurance is pretty high for everyday use.

    Because the XP is godly
Because I rather sell scarlet fruits 120K than mirages 100K
Because I want to reach 89 faster, who care about idiots buying things at stupid prices.

It's not all about chips in cube. Players run it for exp. Players over 90 run it for special pages they need for skills, so yeah. It not all about money for cubers.

Yea I don't really get why there's such a big fuss about overpriced mirages when scarlet fruits are selling 120K and so are oracles...

I will gladdy "disgruntedly" join you in TT, you can keep mirages as long as I can keep a couple of the drops I need to make some of my gear :)

Yep, i agree. They will come down eventually. I don't see why anyone would rush like that to buy over priced mirages anyway. You get a free Genie to start with. So what if it isn't the color you want -_- just run a TT or 2 the next day or something and get some. Plus you will have TT mats to sell for a little extra coin.

The demand for mirages/genies is not exactly for the color of the genie. Its for the lucky points.

As you might already know, every 10 levels the genie has a chance of getting random number <b/w 1 to 10> of stat points. Now, the ideally, you'd want to get as much <10 per increase being the best> out of these random stats <aka lucky points> as possible.

People keep rolling on new genies, until they can get a genie which levels with max number of lucky points.

That's how the mirage market is being hit atm.

oh goodness. I can understand why they would do that, but in the long run it doesn't make sense to keep doing that to me. I guess if you have millions of spirit yeah. But like for my Genie, i got 10/10 for the first 2 sets of lucky pints, 9/10 of the 3rd then 2/10, then 1/10. so i currently have 32/50. Since it is a random number it would almost be wasteful to start over on a new Genie hoping for 50/50. Plus, it would devour all my spirit D:

Exactly. That's why I mentioned earlier that pretty soon...everyone will realize that mirages are not exactly the bottleneck for a new genie. Its spirit.

On another note, you can now "sell" your spirit/exp in the form of a "good" genie. That's gonna be the new market... :)

In Lost City, Mirages go for 40k (25k before the genies came out).

    100k per? I would've been rich :<

I was just going to say the same thing. Dreamweaver was running at 25-30k each, and we're seeing 45-50 now. What the hell happened there, Lost City!?

Answer to the two above posts, I don't know if anyone actually buys at 100K. There have been world chats of people selling them at that price though. I thought it was ridiculous and laughed at them in PMs cuz I'm too poor to buy a worldchat.

Mirages before Genies on Heavens Tear ran around 25k. I am guessing the the mention of 100k mirages are just the asking price people had seen mirages for. Maybe some people were really desperate and bought some for that much. But i doubt very many mirages actually sold for 100k

I sold a few for 200k last night, right after genies got out.... And that was to people that were next to the genie guy and asked in local "wtb mirages 200k"

I do not think the high prices are going to stay, I am pretty sure it was a "first day out" price kind of thing, and they should be going back to 25kish soon

No. Its just an old trick to make people believe that people are buying at that price...and they should be sold at the same.... b:chuckle

I really do not care if they were trying to be tricky :) made some coins all the same. But as I stated earlier, after the flury of of last night, I seriously don't think it the prices will stay high.

The reasons being, if you are a low level player, you do not have the gold anyway to keep buying at those prices, and if you are high level enough to have the money, you can easly run TT for an hour or two and get enough mirages to do what you need. If you are by the genie guy and you are short one, you may be willing to pay a premium to not have to wait, but that will be about it and also the exception.
