Is the only way to give exp to your genie is by losing some of your own???

When I fight.. they genie doesn't get any exp.... so I have to infuse... but if I infuse.. I lose my own exp........

I don't have alot of SP so I barely can use that........

If it's the only way.. it sucks......wish it was working like my pet... my pets get their exp without me losing my own exp at a bad rate....

I am level 67.. Raised Genie to level 37.. lost over 100000 sp and lost 25% exp.... and 1 of the stone you get from the NPC. It sucks......

Unlike your pets, Genies aren't really necessary to play.
Think of them as extra (unneeded) skills.

Has anyone found quests for exp cubes (besides the Watcher of the Earth npc)?

you ll get more than enough sp point after lv 75 ..so dont worry .. just keep it till then ;)
I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.

I'm actually happy to have an alternate way to lose exp. I've been killing myself to prevent myself from leveling too quickly. Even in my 60s it seems I do a few quests and grind for a few days and I've leveled before I really had a chance to see and try out all the content that was made for my level.

At least with genies, my exp is used for something instead of going *poof* when I die. You can even think of it as a rudimentary form of exp transfer. I use my exp to level up a genie, and sell it. You gain a leveled genie without having to lose any exp.

That and Cubes are the only way...Genies are a trap for the young player because they NEED all the SP and Coin they can get to stay afloat. They are more or less something for high level folks with tons of SP, EXP, and Coin that they literally have nothing to do with sitting around. The skills of the genie are not even that worthwhile and get veeery expensive to use if you use them a lot.

Yep, so far genies make the last expansion (ancient archosaur) look good.
