Do archers get really boring?

Ive read some posts in the forums and archers seem to be so powerful that they hardly ever use skills. So does it get boring using like 2 skills and do nothing while your character automatically does normal attacks until the mob dies?

lol the only way they can drop anything is if they use the metal decrease and a crit theyre boring since day one. roll a WR we pwn early to end game.

It's playstyle dependent. I personally love archery IRL which is why i play an archer always :P

But its true, two skills for 1vs1 PvE, Frost and KB... That's why i attack 2-3 mobs :P (Cause I grind with a cleric 80% of the time)

archers can be lame for first 50 levels but they become the heaviest DDers in game

for me, archer is great fun to play. of course it's dependent on you playstyle as to whether a class is boring or fun. when i play a game, i want to deal very good damage, have fun, but still relaxed, and archer fits me just right.

if you feel it's boring to just use the two skills, of course you can add in skills in your grinding. it's totally dependent on you.

as for the bm above, gtfo of the archer forum if you have nothing good to say. someone is asking a good question, which deserves good answers. in nowhere is the poster refer to bms, how dare you just jump in and give your lie.

for your claim, bms own from early lvl to end game. that is a big fat lie. you are only lvl 40, how on earth would you know what the end game is about. all the high lvl bms agree that bms only get better after about lvl 70 cos that's when they can aoe grind. don't give opinion on what you don't know.

lol if you didn t find your archer boring till lvl 50, you shouldn t get bored with him later on, beleive me, it s fun b:pleased Especially when you ll do rebirth gamma runs with 3 archer set up XD

being level 40 doesn't mean that he is an a$$hole or that he can't state it's opinion! Maybe he has a lev 100 archer alt! Wtf do you know! LOL

it's not that we're so powerful we use 1 skill while grinding, it's more like we're so lazy/cheap we use 1 skill while grinding..sometimes 2 skills.

but seriously, what class doesnt get repetitive while grinding? only time it gets interesting is when someone aoe grinds

Im a noob (as you can see). I hear a lot about grinding and that if you want to make money thats what you gota do. So which character is best to grind with? In other games, level 70 buffed weapons are like 30,000,000 is it like that in perfect world or is 5 million like a lot of money?

5 mil is somewhat a lot of money, and yes grinding is the best way to make money if u don't buy boutique gold and sell them

Most expensive thing i ever saw was a white horse mount for 33mil.. I believe it needs like a LOT of bronze (25k each), silver (250k each), and gold (Never seen one) Dragon Orders

Refined weapons i've seen go 10 mil.. Haven't seen any 90+ stuff though.

For the other question: Venomancer is the best grinding class.

it seriously depends on ur taste in items. usually u can get decent stuff from lvl 1-60 for under 100k each. at 70-79 chances are u will need a pay 300-1mil per item for decent equip. at 80-89, well heres where all the expenses will show up. average stuff cost like 2-3mil each piece, the good stuff are 5-10mil each.
5mil is alot of money for the average player in most cases espeically since most people just spent their money as they get them for their equipment.
for more hardcore/dedicated players 5mil is just....maybe 1 piece of their equipment cost not including refines and shards.

well i find that for my barb i atleast need to constantly move my fingers to spam skills, lol.

I am not an archer, but a BM. But I can tell you that grinding in itself can get boring. I use 2 - 4 skills depending on what mobs I (solo)grind on. Its not that much fun... However, up until lvl 60 you should hardly have to grind to lvl up. Although quests do ask quite some grinding. Anyways, if you wanna have some real fun in the game, go do some PvP and definitely TW.

The best grinding class is not veno, its BM. We can AoE grind like hell, there's also more skill needed there since you wanna let your charms tick as few times as possible. It's fun.

Pssh well if ur talking about pve yeah it can get boring for a archer. But when does grinding not get boring for any class. I can tell u in pvp archers r fun as hell hearing ppl QQ telling me i just had a lucky crit as they drop.

And btw isnt this a archer forum why are ppl talking about BMs

Dex build BM's see crits quite often... and yes, it's lovely to see them. Having a 77 BM main is fun, but I'm really getting addicted to archer.
