any pets in game that can attack from range?

    The entire Cactopod family, the Eldergoth Marksman, and the Eldergoth Sharpshooter (at least my understanding on the Sharpshooter is that it's a higher level Marksman mob).


    Now, their attack range is probably about 10 feet, but any skill they use still requires them to be within melee range. Now, their non-skill attack range is usually enough to hold ranged mobs in place, but it's probably right at that point in which some ranged mobs will still kite the pet.

    i find them not worth using, a fast running pet makes a way better puller and attacker for archers. IE Kowlin, little bear, elysium fowl, white pheasant, acephalid family etc.

    I've found my marksman to be very useful at times. It doesn't really have any redeeming features aside from the range attack, but that attack can be pretty helpful.

    I just started using a Marksman two days ago. It keeps grunting whenever it runs. It's so cute. But that's not the point. So far I am enjoying it, however it struggles to keep aggro when using ranged attacks.

    If you decide to use one just pace your attacks(say, Venom x2, Heal x1, repeat). I believe it has lower Def, probably both M.def and P.def, as it tends to take more damage than even my Frozen Wolfmaster. ^^"
