Hello all
I just got my daughter a nix and i need some advice!! she is lvl 14 atm and dont come home til Friday night so my ? is when can she equip it and where do i get the skill for nix she is going to need to hatch it still. I buy she hatches LOL

    Phoenix starts at level 1, and what ever skill you choose to put on the phoenix can be taught at level 1.

    is Nix or Herc good for lvl?? which one is better tanking while she just hits with her skills she loves pets so that was her first class to pick cuz she can have pets :D

    Herc is a better tank, and of the two CS pets is the only one that can be taken into instances as the Phoenix is an air pet.


    Something I have to ask: did you turn the phoenix ticket into an egg using her character?

    I sure hope he knows the Egg is NOT tradable, only the ticket is.

    Holy smokes good thing you told me that its not trade able i still have the ticket. I quess ill have to get her the Herc so i can play with it LOL

    You can't summon air pets in instances, so herc is the only choice in instances.
    If you still have the ticket and are having second thoughts about a phoenix, try shouting on worldchat that you goofed and need to trade a phoenix ticket for a herc ticket. People might suspect a scam, but I'm sure some veno will eventually make the trade with you.

    OMGLazerz's question is relevant because the herc/phoenix eggs are no-trade. Anyone can get the ticket, but the veno who's going to use the herc/nix has to right-click the ticket. If you turned it into an egg with a non-veno character, you'll have to get a GM to help you transfer it to your daughter's veno.

    I bought my nix when I made my level 1 venomancer too. You/your daughter wont regret it. Nix is amazingly fast at killing mobs. It is indeed more squishy and requires a lot more healing maintenance then a herc. However, you kill a lot faster and its worth the effort.

    I recommend using training esotericas and killing air monsters 11+ levels over her level. She will fly up in levels like nothing.

    IMHO nix is the smarter of the 2 choices for buying a legendary so early.

    Herc shines more later on in the game.

    lol took me awhile to get but i finally did it she comes home today so she will have fun after her homework and cleans her room LOL!!!!!b:laugh
