Best PvE Weapon under lvl 60?

Hi,
I was just wondering whats the best PvE weapon for a Blademaster to use under lvl 60 since you kill mobs 1 by 1 at those levels.

I know axe is the best for lvling at lvl 60+ so I will switch to it once I'm high enough, I just need some opinions on wich weapon is best to lvl with under lvl 60. I heard spears are good, but their range attacks trigger mobs ranged magic attacks so thats not good, I heard fists are really good but never tried it.
If I can get some information that would be awesome!

    Only past level 60 Spears have a range of 5m.
