golem and vericose scorpion

does a golem have a higher dmg and dps den a vericose scorpion ?
sry for such a simple question. but i am contradicted by the mani threads.

    They both have an attack rate of 0.6, the golems attack is less, so if they had the same level bash/fleshream or whatever, the scorpion would do more

    scorpion has higher atk and lower def and HP.

    When it comes to pets HP > atacking power because a dead pet = a dead you. If your pet cant handle some serious damage its useless. Thats why the little bear is better than the golem because it has more hp (and less atk).

    I disagree, HP doesnt mean a thing if you do not have the pdef to back it up. Golems have allmight defense second only to the cash pets, thus making it superior in survivability scenarios of metagame.

    hi, i have a volcano magmite(lvl 24 ofcoz).I can heal it to kill Tauroc Snipers lvl 52(no increased stats) !!b:victory,has higher phys def so magmite can tank a higher lvlb:chuckleb:victory.Tip: ull need a magmite to get your items like HAY(from rhinodrake megalith lvl22 or antelope pup lvl 30),element fragments(from Torgin Warriors lvl 30),honey juice (from longlegged toxicon spiders lvl30) for your starting quests like Pet Bag(need 20 hay for 3rd slot pet) or Worries of a Banker (extend your bank with+8 slots), so my advise in your 2 slots for bigging the game its to have a Volcano magmite = 3 skills available during combat, and 2nd slot for a turtle in water(u can solo it your Elder Tortoise Boss Quest(lvl 20+)b:victory.Later on 3rd slot its good to have a air pet or Blackhive Wolfkin Premier(miniboss lvl 20) from fb 19 cave(it has Flesh ream lvl 3 !!)

    What makes me a "carebear" for being on a PVE server? If someone calls me out into white, I go for it, win or lose.     i lvl'd up a lvl 2 scorp in the cube just to see how great the damage was, cuz i was angry that the wolf started to failboat on holding aggro and i am LA. the scorp's damage was higher but not much higher. i may be wrong about higher levels, but at the moment i conclude that it's really nothing special compared to the golem's damage output. beats the golem by 30 or so damage if i recall correctly (will check after maintenance i guess). and i was all excited at seeing that thin spike up the damage section of the stat circle...

    (saw you tear w/ your kowlin :P and yes...the scorp had lightning because i got the scroll a long time ago by accident/ignorance and thought i might as well use it to save bank space)

    Scorp > Golem for ground PvP where most players will ignore the pet and go after the veno anyway, which means the higher attack and speed will let the scorp actually do something to other players before they start smacking you in the face.

    Golem > Scorp for PvE, obviously.

    One mistake a lot of venomancers make is getting Higher level pets... If you'll note Cash Shop Pet's start at lvl 1. The reason is the pet gains higher stats the lower it starts. Granted in regards to phys defense only the Herc has more then the Magmite. Crystal being best since it starts at a lower level. For Magic defense Antelope Pup is best. You can check the stats yourself just by looking at the pets at same level. (There are diffrent types of Creatures getting the lowest level [moves slowest] but will have highest stats for it's type)...

    the stat i take from a site, hope it help, for my owm opinion, i will not use the baby pet for pvp, it suck compare to golem, more hp but less def is same
