Tips for PvP

Ok so I'm inquiring for some high lvl wizards to provides some tips for us lower lvl'd ones. I'm curious as some effect strategies against other classes. For instance:(these are just some examples; if you know of any more please post them)

What skills or strategies are effective against BM?

How about WB?

When a WB sparks do I FoW or DS?

What's the best way to take out a Cleric (if possible)?

How can I crush an Archer?

How do you take out a Veno?

What are some Wiz vs Wiz strategies?

What are some moves I need to avoid and watch out for from other classes ? (BM,WB,Cleric)

Things like that will be wonderful to get a grasp on. If you think of anything that would be helpful please post it. I'd appreciate it if only peoples with experience (and higher lvl) would provide tips.

    to killa wb i find it very use full to start whit FoW and do dragon
    a cleric is no problem for you if they arent thet way more lvl then you only to FoW and TB allmost all will die in a tb and a fast gush
    to bring a archer down is sutra a great way and storm on spells
    I dont like Pvp a veno XD hate nix ...
    To take a Wiz down is not so hard if you can get your FoW befor he do Then go all you can on TB and he will fall easy
    I hate clerics Sleep so bee redy on thet when it comes only spam Fow antil you get out of it i find thet way good

    Try this one when you got 2 sparks, 99 chi and a 1 spark powder

    FOW > Sutra > Pyro > Ulitmate

    After you hit the pyro you have to take a 1 spark powder that you can make at the apoths. Depending on the enemy change up the ultimate, on a HA you would want to use an all magic ultimate (dragon, seize) and on LA or Arcane I prefer BT for the added physical damage but I also use seize sometimes. My seize gives a 5.7sec stun so I get the chance to get another spell or 2 off before they wake up.

    And thats when seize becomes usefull :D

    A great stun, and in demon u have a even wider range b:dirty

    it just takes forever and a day to cast though. :( and compared to the other classes stun it makes our stun look like a joke....

    use FoW to buy you the time for the cast, pyro and gush them , then shrink if you can and Coup D'etat the sucker.

    Also in PvP use every underhanded tactic you can, fly to prevent stun, attack from behind etc... up to you really.
    Currently flying internet spaceships around dodixie, moving to amarr soon.

    well... i can tell u only about lvl 90+ fights
    1. if it is a BM lvl 90+ and u're an arcane wiz.. just run lol b:chuckle their stuns FTW, u cant kill them and they eat ur hp charm like crazy

    2. WB if we're talking about WBs 14k+ hp... sage/demon spark+undine strike and use ur fastest spells (pyrogram+gush).. u can use some apo chi pots during spark so right after it use some stronger spells (sandstorm etc)... if it didnt kill him... just leave him aloneb:chuckle had fight like this once.. barb lost 350k hp from his charm.. i lost 60k... waste of time.. i couldnt kill him, he couldnt kill me either

    3. 1st FoW then DS hehe
    4. US+BT might work... but usually waste of time and charms... no1 wins
    5. US+FoW+sutra FTW
    6. omg phoenix!! ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!!!b:surrender
    7. if both are arcane or LA wizards... usually waste of time and charms.. no1 wins
    8. remember to use FoW right after cleric's sleep.. they usually debuff u, then comes spark and plume shot.. so use FoW, DS and just w8 b:chuckle

    Damn it sounds like we don't really take out anyone... BM's we should run, Veno we should Run, Barb we should run, Wiz's no point it equals out, Cleric equals out waste charm..... i mean geez... wut a bummer

    Bm's are annoying as **** and the best way to deal with them is an anti stun apothecary. But without an apothecary you should kite to get the warrior to ~60% HP, gush or phoenix, and blink away and use sutra combo; Divine pyrogram sandstorm stonerain divine pyrogram and pray to god it kills him. Another tactic is once you get undine is jus tkite till 60%, undine, and hope for a sandstorm crit. (More viable on LA)

    DS, FoW should be saved for when your hiero is ticked and you need to buy some time, Wbs still have a ranged skill (it hurts too)

    Clerics > mages, but if they aren't smart a good way is to get their hp to 51-60% then blade tempest, hopefully they aren't smart enough to plume shell.

    Archers are easy really, especially when you get undine. As LA after 79 you should be able to 2shot most archers, usually a gush and sandstorm is enough. Once again, ~60% hp then sandstorm.

    I hate fighting venos more than clerics. If they're LA try to get ~60% and spike with strongest spell, if they have a nix, just run.

    Wiz vs wiz, never force of will first. If they're robe, keep tempest ready for 60%ish HP, if LA, wait till they force of will then unload a sutra (also keep FoW up incase they want to try sutra)

    Some other miscellaneous tips would be LEVEL YOUR SKILLS. I've kept a +2 weapon (still have it) and my damage is fine because my spells are leveled up. Don't neglect them because PvP is all about assessing your situation and picking what spells to use at what times, and they're better suited to each situation when they're leveled up. Also, if you see a nix, run.

    Bypassing hieros is your best friend for killing ANYONE.

    thanks Armour that was very helpful xP. So at higher lvls can Wiz's take on Veno's, Barbs,Clerics etc... and win or will they always be near impossible to beat?

    End-game Wizards are equal to the other classes while before they were food that tastes elements, that's the conclusion I've come to by reading/arguing/flaming/whatever in both Wizard and Cleric forums.

    yeah i've seen that a lot of wizards flame you because you defend your class. But hey, it always makes the conversation interesting. anyways thanks for the input, I'm always down to hear some Wiz PvP/PK strategies... anyone else got any?
