lv 4x grinding and razor&purify questions

my cleric is lv40 and will probably soon havta start grinding to make levels so...

i was wondering if its worth it to level razor feathers and purify to start aoe grinding wood poison mob or not?

and the determining factor of that would be:
are there any good agressive wood poison mob that can be gathered up for a razor, purify, I.B. combo... for a 4x / 5x to grind on or not?
if so, what are they, and where are they?


i happened to come across a bunch of longlegged toxicon (lv30, i think) while i was somewhere in my 30s n tried out razor aoeing wood poison mob. i got the idea of how it works, but ofcourse with lv1 razor and purify it didnt work very well lol.

i have tried both methods of grinding and prefer single or small groups. You could gather up 10 or so poison/wood mobs and razor them, but remember the range of that aoe is small, and the cooldown factor. also keep in mind u will be using lots of iron hearts and purifies in order to A. keep aggro while u gather and B. to keep urself alive.
Normally if theres three or four within shooting range ill see if i can get em close enough for an aoe, but i find shooting em down one by one in nice fast cleric style succession works just as well and the same time.
If u do choose to do heavier aoe grind then make sure u have a higher lvl purify cause the cooldown sucks at lower lvls, and poison can stack something fierce

almost forgot.....native vipions around sumor and swiftwind are great for grinding on....wood/poison mobs and since they are fliers u get 1.5x the xp of ground mobs.

Klosar - Sanctuary

I only know for those spiders near hidden orchid and Petalii's Hexkisses (not sure about name) west from Sea Of Reality. There's a one nice valley with Petalii's everywhere. U can easy get like 15+ mobs at once.
they are 61lvl but u can grind them from your 55lvl.


PS: Dont try them if your purify isnt on lvl4 min and razor on lvl5.

As a note: it works with lvl4 purify but not safe... one wrong button or timing and you'll be dead...
Try to level razor till you can four-shot them, one more shot costs ~530-550mp (IH-purify-razor).

1 sec lag, wrong ironheart or you took too many of them and youre dead. thats why u need lvl4 purify.

When i had only lvl4 purify I died if something went wrong. The difference between lvl4 and lvl5 means life or death. A lvl4 purify is simply not enough for your safety.

incase you havent noticed its about purify, IB, and RF. tempest has nothing to do with that.

but to all others thanks for the thoughts and input on this n further discussion is welcome (AS LONG AS my thread does not turn into a multi page flame war. keep things sensible and flame in the thread thats specifically for it)

but something noone's specifically answered is wether or not there's good mob for a lv4x to do this sort of grinding with b:chuckle
