Wind&Clouds V. Thundercrack

As the topic suggested, which is better for me if I can only pick one? I love one-shotting using the xbow, but then the slingshot feels pretty nice too. Due to great financial strain I could only grind for one of these 2. Which is a better investment? Please don't tell me to save up for both of them and use them at the same timeb:chuckle Thank youb:laugh

    i would choose the cross bow personally. but the sling shot has faster firing then the cross bow. if you could refine it partially then it would have the equivelent of the cross bow even though the cross bow does more damage. it shots slower
    probably one of the smartest in perfect world
    yet the lowest of level

    Go for the slingshot. Its cheaper and better.

    But do try to get the xbow soon coz u will need it for your hh90 xbow.

    Get the Thudercrack, then go on fb69 mold runs for the Wind and Clouds. You'll get it eventually.

    Wind and clouds should be ridiculously cheap compared the the xbow.

    naw mold runs are not necessary. wind and clouds is how many chips again?

    Get the Sling~~^^ it'll be much cheaper to grind cause you only need frost arrow and about 5 normal shoots to kill a monster b:victory
    and you only need 3 chips( 60k each on sanc ) and 120k fee for the mold

    Hmm, the slingshot is nice but right now just with average shards and not plused :( It's so hard to find a good pimped slingshot. I saw one with 2 flawless and +3 just a minute ago and just as my friend borrowed me the money to get it it's gone b:angryb:angryb:cry But as the dude said above do I still hafta get the thundercrack for the sake of making the future weapon?

    Errr...
    Wind and Clouds is an exceptional grinding weapon
    Thundercrack is a more PVP-orientated weapon

    If you're more of a PVE player, the decision is easy, as W&C is vastly superior for this, and generally much cheaper.


    As for level 80, you have another set of choices:
    The Soulsmasher (TT80 gold bow) -- expensive, but... the best
    Flash Fire (TT80 crossbow) -- best upgrade path for TT90 Blinding Radiance, and a good weapon in its own right
    Chained Jail (TT80 crossbow) -- very useful effect
    Striker (TT80 slingshot) -- very effective grinding weapon
    or... if moneys tight (and all of the above are quite expensive weapons) you can simply take your Wind and Clouds from level 69, refine it to +4, and use it the whole way to 88 (windcatcher) or 90 (dragonbow or blinding radiance)
    Meek with words, abrupt with arrows.

    Lol I'm definitely not very PVE oriented because I'm on LC. Wow the refining -_- and the gems...b:surrender I like the flash fire though. So that means i still must take time to farm it to transform into the hh80-90 wep eh? W&C suck at Pvp is it? b:sad

    W&C would be alright on arcane armor targets, and perhaps even LA... but its going to be inferior at dealing with heavy armor.

    One of Caesar's archers took me down pretty easily with the W&C, but I think she was been 9x... if not, I need to do some work.

    Anyway, I have the W&C, thundercrack and unicorn. The W&C is the best grinding weapon I've ever seen.. thundercrack is good in pvp (don't have a lot to compare it to), and I only use the unicorn in TT/FB because it's pretty and won't steal aggro.

    now theres no excuse not to get wind and clouds, none at all haha

    well you could...not have enough coins for 5 gold, but heck, those chips more than cover for wind and cloud mold and the lvl 10 light armors as well
