cannot see monsters

An ingame friend of mine has a veno, and shes having problems w seeing monsters. we've told her to restart her settings, turn her distance up, turn her graphics up, etc etc and none of it seems to work. when she is playing regularly, she can only see monsters to the side of her, but not directly infront of her character.
in instances is the real problem. being a veno that cant see mobs is bad for pulling. in instances she cannot see ANY monsters, unless they r directly ontop of her. b:cry
we have tried everything! one of out faction mates is a programmer and he cant figure it out!!! plz help!!b:surrender

    Has she tried a verify from the launcher?
