I just saw the announcement that Perfect World Co. has entered into an agreement to publish Runic Games' upcoming MMORPG named Torchlight. Press release here:

Runic Games is the company formed by the developers of Mythos, a wonderful game that was lost to us in beta when its parent company Flagship (makers of HellGate London) failed. Before that, these same folks worked for Blizzard designing and building the Diablo series of games.

As a fan of both Perfect World Co. and Runic Games, I have no doubt they'll make a great team. Congratulations, everyone!!!

    Seems interesting. I'd make a remark about wondering when we'd see it here, but I don't want a vague answer like "The exact timing of the release...very near future" ;) just messin' w/ ya Xar

    But ya, gratz PW co. I hope it does just as well for you as PW.

    I am a great fan of the people in Runic Games. They are such a great team. I can't wait for their new game to come out already!

    Well, it's always good news to hear that a new game is being developed, and i also imagine this to be a very solid project to have gone through in this troubled times. So yea, congratulations to the parent company.
