Very dumb question and I feel Im going to get the wrath of the venos here.

So the question is, is the herc worth it?
It's not my job to shut you down on a suggestion. It's a pleasure, though.

    Short answer: Yes

Long answer: I convinced a friend to spend all his gold he bought with real money to get me a hercules. Took a ton of convincing and he was worried that he'd get nothing out of it at all. After I got it upto my level and started making use of it, he said it was well worth it.

Just to check, the herc starts at level 1 when you get and hatch egg correct?

Mine still works fine. I have a feeling if one were to investigate a bit they would find that they simply hit an "unlucky streak" therefore leading the assumption that the herc got stealth-nerfed. MMORPG RNG(Random Number Generator) has always been known for streaky behavior. Over the course of a very large sample size you will see statistics work out the way they should, but in smaller numbers it is very rare for 20% to actually be 20%. In my wow raiding days I would look at WWS after every boss fight and my crit numbers were almost always 5-10% off what the paperdoll figures were. However if you took the numbers from several nights of raiding they would start to average out to where they should have been. The recent feeling of "nerfed herc" is probably nothing more than bosses hitting on the high end of their damage range more often than statistics should normally allow. The same is likely true of nerfed TT drop rates.

My 2c, take it or leave it.
